This thing is super fun. Well built. Excellent packaging. Looks awesome for a gift. Comes ready to run. 2 batteries help extend runtime. Controller works great. There is a trim knob to adjust steering. (Until you crash, then you might need to tweak it again). Also what's really nice is there is a top speed knob too. The media could not be loaded. This package arrives with everything you need to start playing in minutes! I can't think of the last time a remote actually came with batteries, and the truck has an extra battery. The only time I used the instructions, was to see if I needed to know anything charging the batteries. There's a specific way to plug and unplug them. Everything else was so easy to figure out, and I was jumping it off of logs and doing doughnuts in the back yard for a half hour. It's great that you can use the trigger or wheel to go backwards or forwards. The speed and wheel trims work great for smaller hands. This is a perfect gift set that kids can tear into immediately. I'll likely take this camping, and see if I can rig up an adult beverage to deliver to my friends. It goes really fast, is very responsive, and the parts and gears are great quality. SJZ is the brand, but I think you can find replacement shells and parts at RC dealers if needed. Really glad I bought this toy for myself! Packaging was great, arrived quickly with no issues. So if you've read the other reviews, there's a few out there that detail the ooo and aaaah of the packaging and all that dribble. I'm skipping that. This is a review on the performance I experienced when I tried it out. For that info, read on.. Even though I bought this not for a child, but a dog, I figured it'd be fast enough to keep my gud boi exercised since that's all he'll run for. On hard surfaces it'll scoot around. I'd say around 20-25mph tops (full charge). On grassy areas with around 2" of grass, maybe 4mph. And steering goes out the window on the grass. The 4wd is pointless on the grass, it doesn't help. On hard surfaces it actually handicaps the turn, and you can't get tight turns because of it. This isn't necessarily a deal breaker, as I figured i'd have the 2 battery packs to get him wore out before the batteries died. Guess I was mistaken. The first battery pack was switched out in 10 minutes of running it at full speed in straight lines at around 50ft +/- distances. After the 1st battery pack was changed out, I switched to the grassy area. Batteries lasted about the same amount of time, and I did less in the grass, but still had it at full throttle. It just doesn't have the oomph to get through grass as well as I thought it would. So, battery life isn't what they advertised. If you still want this, i'd suggest buying at least 2 more packs to compensate for loss of time. In the end, I wore out my pup, just as both battery packs wore out. However, what am I to do with the other 6 dogs waiting in line? Sigh.... If you get this, get it for a 6yr-ish old child. They'll have fun with it. Older kids will bore quickly due to battery issues. Will I buy another? Nah, I have this one. I'll just buy more rechargable battery packs for it til they tear it up. THEN, I might decide on another purchase. Till then, buy with confidence! ... show more

This product checked off all the boxes; long run time, speed, durability, control, and well priced. I operated this product both indoors and outdoors and it performed exceptionally well in both spaces. The ability to adjust the throttle was very helpful for operating in a smaller room inside. When I took it outside, I was able to turn it to full throttle and I experienced just how fast this thing is. Even with the lower ground clearance, it drove very well through the taller grass and piles of leaves in my yard. I definitely put the durability of this product to the test, and it did not disappoint. Tumbles down the stairs and collisions with the wall were no problem at all.
