This is a great toy for the pool but it also works well in grass and rocks! We used it for at least two hours and the battery still good-- even if it died, it comes with a second battery! I don't usually write reviews but this product is worth the time. It was my grandson's favorite birthday toy-- highly recommend!

My kids had a lot of fun racing this car around the patio. It's fast, responsive, and durable after crashing into the concrete steps several times. It was easy enough for my 4 year old to drive. When we put it in the pool to try out the amphibious capability, it worked well for a while and moved around pretty well across the water. But after 30 minutes or so it stopped working and I thought the battery needed charging. Turns out, the battery compartment was full of water. After charging the battery and reinserting it into the car, the car would not reconnect to the controller. I tried for several days to get the car and controller to pair and work and they did not. Also, the controller is not waterproof so do not take the controller into the water! Overall a fun car as long as you keep it out of the water.

I purchased thia for my four year old, and he loves it. The battery last for at least an hour of continuous playing. He loves that he can control it with either the watch or controller. Both allows him to have good range to drive. It also does well im the pool.
