I ordered this for my 6 year old son and we have been enjoying it. What may not be clear for the listing on Amazon is that the plane is made out of Styrofoam completely, so it is very light and flies well. However, that does make it delicate to some extent. It can take a few crash landings, but we ended up breaking the nose off of ours. The set comes with some glue for this purpose and we were able to glue it back together pretty well. However, after our repair it doesn't fly like it used to. Overall, we are happy with it. It was easy enough for my 6 year old to control with some practice and we suggest throwing it instead of letting it take off from the ground as the most effective means to get it flying. The set comes with some replacement parts which is good because we lost two sets of wheels in the grass. You will also need a large area to fly it, like a park. ... show more

Since COVID-19 began, I have bought more than 2 dozen planes for my two sons. I bought this not knowing it did not have elevators (ability to control up or down). We launched the plane, it went straight up, and then straight down and the nose cone broke off instantly from 10 feet into soft grass. Tried to fly again and every time it either flips over or goes straight up... no matter throttle position or not. To summarize: IT DOES NOT FLY. YOU CANNOT CONTROL THIS PLANE. This is from an experienced RC Dad who has a lot of experience with both basic planes similar to this and BNF 6-channel planes with advanced features. WORST PLANE. When I first flew it, it was great until the nose of the plane snapped of. I fixed it using the access glue and got it to fly again. But due to the cheap material, it is very light so you have to fly it with no wind. Other wise ok purchase UPDATE DO NOT BUY!!!! Right after I write the first review the wings broke after a tiny crash. THIS PLANE IS GARBAGE ... show more

My kids loved the remote control airplane and it was easy enough for my 7 year old to fly yet fun enough for my husband too! Quality isn’t great(made of styrofoam) but for a first time flyer I got exactly what I wanted for the money.

The worse peace of crap ever. I can't belive I let my 8 year old spent $1 on this never mind $49.99. I had to give it a star. I wish there were negative stars. The thing is very poorly made. It doesn't even fly just goes in circles. The worse purchase ever!!!

Ensure you have plenty of space to fly this as it is difficult for kids to control. We thought a soccer field was big enough, but managed to get it 50 feet up in tree in the first minute. It was stuck for two days before a rain storm blew it low enough to get out with a large pole. May be difficult for younger fliers to get used to, especially that the controls are opposite if flying toward you. ... show more
