  • great piece of hardware for a great price
I wanted to purchase the pioneer ddj-sp1 but they stopped making it and I came across the reloop neon. very small and compact it fits in my dj bag and will work on most dj stands. only issue is to remember to switch channels on the controller but works great for hot cues and stems. another issue I cam across is it doesn't always respond accurately when trying to use the stem effect out. if you hit the button it will trigger it but not hold it all the time. that might be a software issue with serato though, cause the pads are great and a nice size to trigger hot cues and stems. Overall love this purchase and what I can do with it my gigs is awesome, I don't have to worry about club dj setups anymore limiting my abilities to use serato features. ... show more

  • Game changer
This is the best $180 I’ve spent on gear, in recent history at least. The Slicer function alone is worth double this price. The only other add on option for a slicer is a $320 DDJ XP2, which is awesome but it’s $320! This unit is robust, fast, zero latency whatsoever and pairs with with Serato and my DDJ Rev1 that I refuse to retire lol ... show more

  • Packs a punch for its size and price.
I wanted the beatpad 2 but it was very pricey. However using this in conjunction with my existing controller and sound gear it gave 90% of the functionality of that much more expensive controller. Since this controller is made native for Serato and I am using DJay I had to download a mdi map. Not a big deal if you are slightly tech savvy. I love the eight pads. They can be programmed to do a verity of things like hot cues, hot loops, sound effects samples and much more. it can control up to 4 decks. The instructions say you can even buy two of them and daisy chain for more functions. ... show more

  • my god this thing is a godsend!!
It came alot faster than expected thank you gear nut, but as the device itself it's effing amazing I normally user dicers and I don't have a rane 62 and if you want an fx unit and don't have 2 grand to shell out for a rane mixer this thing GREAT I've been messing with all the modes and i love it. It's sturdy,it's compact, and the pads feel nice. It has a slight learning curve for all the modes but once you get the hang of it it's like second nature and you barely ever touch your computer again. Altho id honestly rather have two of these and link them and use them at home (i use dicers for my gigs since they are more mobile) but only the pioneer sp1 is as great as this if your a dvs user like me you won't be disappointed at all. ... show more

  • Trax load knob Wear out really quick!
I loved this controller when I first started using it. However, after 5 months of use. the 'Trax Load' knob has worn out, is very touchy and it's impossible to load a track into Serato, using the knob, without it scrolling down to another track when you push down on the knob to load. When turning the knob to scroll through tracks in Serato DJ Pro, it jumps all over the place with the scrolling going in reverse even though I'm scrolling down (turning the knob clockwise). I'm disappointed that it's failing me after only 5 months. Prior to this controller, I used a Rane Serato controller for over 12 years without any issues. ... show more

  • A very nice piece of hardware
I find this to be an excellent auxiliary controller for things like finger-drumming. If I have one bone to pick with it, it's that it feels extremely lightweight, even flimsy. I worry about it breaking in my bag. On the other hand, if it were in a sturdy metal case or something, it would cost twice as much. You get what you pay for. ... show more
