The plastic on these is quite thin, but so far I haven't had them screw me up badly. If it does tear you can add a second bag like for if you have sharp trash.

These bags are only good for the size they are. They are not heavy duty and I have had Walmart plastic bags that are more durable than these. This was a horrible purchase and cannot adequately keep the bins from getting disgusting as is the purpose of these. Do yourself a favor and find some thicker bags like Husky. ... show more
