This product is a little pricey but works exactly as advertised! The best part is that it's easy to install on a Mavic 2 (Zoom or Pro) within minutes and doesn't require any special tools or screws. All the wires coveniently attach to the Mavic arms with clips and don't risk getting caught in the prop blades. The 3-D printed mounting arms securely attach the drop device to the Mavic. The servo was very reliable when activated by the photo-diode. I wish the release mechanism was a push-rod instead of the rotating hook because it's a little more secure when carrying a drop load. There is a very tiny chance of your load becoming unhooked in-flight but it could happen, whereas with a pushrod it would be impossible. The only real improvement on this product would be a method to drop two separate loads, which some drop devices can do. Hopefully we'll see this feature on a future model. I did some long distance testing and didnt notice any discernable decrease in flight times with the added weight of the drop device. However, carrying a heavy load will obviously strain your motors and battery time so be careful. Carrying any load over a pound will seriously strain your motors and risk a thermal shutdown and then your expensive Mavic 2 is falling out of the sky like a rock!

I have seen other, less expensive units to drop things. I chose this unit because I really liked the underslung design, it was carefully thought out in my opinion. I have later realized that they also make a dual drop version, I might have gotten that one for more drop options. They include info to link you to install and operation videos but really the unit pops on/off in seconds and disassembles into small pieces that are easy to store in my Mavic2 case. The unit itself works as advertised, either pirouette the model two revolutions counter-clockwise, or clip on the included Nav LED sensor, program the Go4 app to toggle the Nav LEDs with the TX C1 or C2 buttons. The whole unit is 3D printed and the finish is pretty decent, again, thoughtfully designed.

Only worked with manual button. Doesn’t work otherwise. Made sure fully charged, drone buttons configured, but did not work with rotation or buttons after repeated attempts. Tech support none existent after several tries. Totally useless

Works well with M67 grenades just make sure comrade pulls the pin first. Lost many a drone due to not checking. Really only limitation is what drone can list and battery duration. Lack on instructions since only came in English and Chinese, no Cyrillic. Glad it’s cheap and functional, just test first before going full send.
