Using this on my mini 4 pro it triggered the sensors so my drone thought something was right below it the whole time. With that happening I flew up to about 30ft and tried to bring it down and it entered landing mode and was trying to slowly land from 30 ft. So glad I didn't fly up to 150 ft and do it. Probably would have run out of battery before it hit the ground. I tried recounting it several times. Tried tightening it. No matter what I did it never worked. And thus was just the device. No payload. Will be returning it and buying another one with a different make.

The media could not be loaded. Great little add on to do more than flying your drone. Easily allows you to drop a fishing line out to you favorite spot or play games. We tie small fishing weights to string and practice bomb runs and see who can hit closets to the target. Build a bullseye like a dart boat at keep score over 5 runs. This can also deliver small items to people out in the field or even help in search and rescue. Great little item that use a photocell to initiate the drop mechanism. Bind one of your C1 or c2 buttons to turn your landing light on and off and with a press of the button it will drop your payload. The one negative. It weighs 50grams so following FAA guidelines that will put your mini 4 over the 249 gram weight limit and your would need to register the drone with the FAA. Got this for surf fishing to take my bait out beyond the waves farther than I can cast, carries a 4 oz weight with ease could probably go higher and the release is so simple, simple to use simple to attach built well in great range would definitely recommend

I was pretty excited when this unit came up for review. I coupled this drop-device system with a Mavic 4 pro - the fit was pretty decent, there is a bit of play in the fitment - but nothing that affects flight. The landing skids on the unit are able to fold out or retract for storage as needed. The unit itself will "drop" the payload when you have set the auxiliary light on your RC controller and activate it. I have experienced some issues with carrying various items and the drone constantly thinking that it was close to the ground so make sure that you configure your settings accordingly as it will affect your flight. Thus unit itself will only take about an hour to charge, but just keep in mind that you will only have enough time for maybe five drops or so depending upon the amount of time it takes you to fly to your target. For the price point of this unit and if you are in the market for one - I would feel decent about taking a chance on it. My grading scale: 5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park, PERFECT BUY! 4 Stars = Excellent find, you should definitely give it a shot. 3 Stars = It works and functions as advertised. 2 Stars = A little scary, but do your research and it may work out. 1 Stars = Avoid this product and look elsewhere. All of my reviews are based on actual use of the product. I do not communicate with sellers and I am not compensated for positive or negative reviews - they are as honest as I can make them.
