These are good quality shelving units. This is the third one (different sizes) I have purchase for organizing my garage. However, this one came with on bent shelf. It still worked as the top shelf where I don't put anything heavy. If you order, make sure you check everything before you start putting it together. I prefer these units with the nice heavy duty wheels. If you need to move it to clean, or get something that dropped behind, the wheels give you the ability. I messaged the seller and can confirm that the description for this item is incorrect. The maximum weight for this shelving unit, without the casters, is 2500 pounds, not the 3500 pounds mentioned in the product description. Additionally, according to the seller, the maximum weight capacity for this shelving unit with the casters on and locked is 176 pounds. The casters on my unit failed at 150 pounds as soon as the lock on one of the casters was released. When evenly spaced, there is a little more than 15 inches of space between the shelves. For context, if you were to fill each shelf with 15 inches of widely available commercial high-density Styrofoam (3lbs per cubic foot), you would be less than ten pounds from the maximum weight for the casters, and it would likely be unsafe to move; mine failed at a lower weight. The casters themselves are very poorly made. Only two of the four wheels are equipped with brakes, and they are single locking. The unit feels very flimsy when empty, but with even a little weight on it, the casters struggle to rotate. After all four casters simultaneously failed, I initiated a return through Amazon. the return label I was initially provided had no postage. The UPS shipping estimate for me to send it back to the seller within the lower 48 states was $140.48. I contacted the seller; their postage free shipping label says to contact them if the price of shipping the item back to them is over $30. Do not expect easy returns on this item or with this seller. Once contacted, the seller replied in a timely manner with a message that said they would refund me $50 dollars so I could go buy four $7-9 replacement casters. I informed then that buying casters that would be safe to use on this product with any reasonable weight, would be at least $130. I declined their offer and asked, again, for return shipping and a full refund. They messaged me back saying of course they would pay for the return shipping, but would I take a $100 refund and keep the item instead. In their second message, the seller also said they, "will issue the full refund to your original payment after we locate the situation of the returned package with our warehouse." I'm not exactly sure what that means, but I suspect it means my refund will not be timely. (I will edit this review if the refund is processed quickly) To add insult to injury, the price dropped after I bought the item by $30. Do not buy this item because it has casters; unless you plan on using this shelving unit to hold pillows, it cannot hold much without putting the casters under dangerous strain. You can also find similar shelves without casters for less than half the cost of this item. Buy one of those instead. I would avoid this brand and seller. Personally, I will never buy one of their products again. The whole experience has been quite unpleasant. ... show more
