  • EASY TO APPLY - Because of it low viscosity its application on ceramic fiber materials becomes very simple. It can be applied with brushing, spraying or dipping. It takes around 24 hours for curing post application. (Don't keep the lid open when not in use for better preservation as it starts freezing when it comes in contact with air)
  • WIDE APPLICATION - This rigidizer is extensivly used in varied fields for surface coating of ceramic fiber insulation used in Forges, Foundry, Furnace, Stove, Oven, Raku, Kiln and many more

Used to fabricate a combustion chamber for my old dry based furnace. Mocked up a chamber out of wood, overlapped two layers of ceramic blanket and used this product to stiffen it all up. The bottle only does a 24 by 24 by 1 inch section so you need a lot to treat a big project like mine properly. For my purpose just stiffening it up a little bit to facilitate the transfer to the furnace worked out perfect. My kiln was “snowing”all over my glass projects. The manufacturer suggested using this type of product so when I found this on Amazon I ordered it immediately. It came in a couple of days. It was easy to apply and fixed the problem. I was expecting this problem to be so much harder to fix with a long period of down time for my kiln, but not so with this rigidizer. I brushed it on and 24 hours later my kiln was ready to go. It worked. I recommend this product to kiln users when their kiln lid begins to drop white particles on their glass projects.
