  • Easy to set up
Was a Christmas gift for son. Didn't know he had been looking at it months prior. He was thrilled to get it. Very easy to set up and use. Just follow instructions or go to YouTube and watch video. Very simply explained.

  • Great Tool
I finally set this up and used it about 2 weeks ago. I used it to help me make repeatable cuts on some hard woods for a cutting board I was making my wife. Calibrating it was extremely easy. If you buy one, don’t forget to setup your blade width during calibration. That’ll throw it off a minimum of an 1/8”. That was the thickness of my blade. From watching YouTube videos, I learned to ensure I did that. I would definitely buy one again if I needed too. ... show more

  • Steep Learning Curve
I do a lot of picture frames on my miter saw and using the Reekon M1 takes a lot of practice with the 45 degree cuts, inside and outside lengths and rabbits. For straight 90 degree cuts it very accurate once it is setup and calibrated.

  • So where to begin
This is a nice little machine. Getting is calibrated sucks, I followed the instructions again and again and again and it kept saying I was a 1/16th off every time so what they don’t talk about is you have to measure the thickness of your saw blade and you need to enter that into the machine otherwise it will always be off. Now for the money I spent. It’s expensive this is not a homeowner tool this is a professional homeowner tool after my struggles and a lot of YouTube videos I finally got it dialed in. Time will tell if it’s making my life easier but my advice to the creator is to drop the price or provide a No BS lifetime warranty. It’s got your name on it and that’s all you need you will fix it for free at this cost. A tape measure is $20 dollars I’ve done a lot with a tape measure your going to have to try and convince me otherwise that your M1 tool can improve my life ... show more

  • Incredibly accurate!
I bought this almost a year ago and was nervous to even take it out. I wish I had WAY earlier. There are simple videos for calibration that only takes a moment. For those saying that it’s off by a small amount - I would venture to say they didn’t finish the setup where you adjust for the loss when cutting, which literally takes less than a minute to do. I needed several 6” cuts for my first project with this. I have included a photo of 1 of them… 6” spot on. And they are ALL like that. I am very pleased. If you weren’t sure about this, get it! But PLEASE follow all of the instructions for the like 5 minutes of setup you need to do before complaining that it’s not accurate lol ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY THIS!
I like the idea of this product but it does not work. It’s really hard to calibrate even by watching videos to make sure I was doing everything right. It’s supposed to clamp to the rail, but the springs are not tight enough to hold while you are pushing through, I highly recommend that you do not put this in your cart and then hit purchase because it does not work. I sent it back and requested a full refund good old tape measure, and pencil will do the trick. ... show more

  • Game Changer
If you do any kind of volume at all, this is a game changer! Setup was a little time consuming and my fence was a little tricky but got going right away. Very sensitive, make sure work is supported well and you maintain fence contact. Pay attention, you can be on your number but off the mark! There is and indicator in the upper right there will be an X for on the mark or < for left and > for right movement. I got mine on the flash sale and if it came with the tape it would have been a 5 star for vale! ... show more

  • Some Considerations Using with Bosch GCM12SD Miter Saw
Well, after struggling to add DROs to a metal lathe, mill, and drill press, I looked at this and thought "easy-peasy". It says "just clamp on the fence". My miter saw has a fence, I can do this. Except, it turns out that the fence is just a tiny bit too thick for the clamp to lock on. No problem I thought, they have an adapter plate, I'll order that. Turns out the "plate" is a pair of fairly thick slabs of prticle board, one of which has a small metal tab to clamp the device on. It also comes with a fairly random bag of screws and no instructions. I did a trial fit and found that (1) it interferes slightly with the in-feed clamp unless I off set it substantially to the right and (2) it takes up needed space in the work area. Kind of like having a sacrificial fence that you have no need for. So, next plan is to find a piece of aluminum that the clamp likes, fasten that to the back of my fence (possibly with epoxy to avoid having to countersink screws in a not all that thick fence) and yeah, this thing is a snap to install, just clip it on and go! I guess I'll never learn. Hope this helps someone. We fools rush in where fools have been before ; ) ... show more
