Features

  • A Better Way to Measure: The M1 Caliber is a professionalgrade miter saw measuring tool designed to help professionals across trades achieve faster, more consistent, and more accurate cuts than traditional measuring methods
  • Digitize Your Miter Saw Workflow: Converts manual measuring into a digital process by clamping to a saw fence and displaying realtime cut measurements (English and Metric) on a large, backlit LCD screen as material slides beneath the measuring wheel
  • Eliminates Measuring & Marking: Removes the need for a tape measure and pencil by delivering instant length readings directly at the saw, simplifying measuring and cutting for repeatable results
  • Broad Saw Compatibility: Compatible with most miter saws, cutoff saws, chop saws, and vertical band saws. Make miter, bevel, compound, and straight cuts on both flat and round materials including boards, composites, and pipe
  • Increased Safety: Centralizes measuring activity at the saw fence, helping reduce repeated handling, repositioning, and manual measuring tasks during cutting operations
  • Fast Setup: Clamp to your saw fence, release the arm, input your blade thickness and begin to cut. Designed for contractors, carpenters, woodworkers, and tradespeople alike

  • Really nice product Really nice product
I wish I had this 20 yrs ago. It's fantastic. easy to calibrate. I wasn't sure about a few things but once I calibrated the kerf every cut is exactly what I cut. Clamps on easily to the fence. Super easy to read. Comes with a nice case to keep it safe when done work. I normally don't leave reviews but the reekon m1 is every carpenters dream. My nephew builds cabinets and when he seen mine he ordered one while I was doing a demo for him....buy one......thanks reekon for a great product Tom Zimmerman ... show more

  • Fantastic Item for Precision Multiple Like Length Cuts
This is a fantastic item. I purchased it with the Reekon T1m digital tape for building honeybee boxes and equipment. I use the M1 for all the smaller repetitive cuts. It is extremely accurate for cutting multiple precision like length pieces. Important when dealing with 1/4 Inch bee space. I have since found many uses for this item cutting pieces for projects around the place. It even works for measuring miter and bevel cuts. I find myself looking forward to opportunities to go use it. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. ... show more

  • Great tool one at a time saver
One of the best tools in my arsenal to get you fired up quick save time

  • This is probably the first time in my life where I was excited to measure something.
I'll give you all a moment to stop giggling The Reekon M1 is one of a few items over the past couple years that I saw used on Youtube that turned into a serious game changer. ====> AS LONG AS YOU SET IT UP AND CALIBRATE IT PROPERLY! <==== Make sure to verify that your blade kerf is set correctly in the M1 or every cut will be slightly off. I have a Bosch GCM12SD Miter saw and quickly found out it was not immediately compatible. My fences don't have a proper spot to clamp onto so I had to purchase their adapter fences and mount them first. Annoying yes, but not a deal breaker. In reality i maybe could have researched that but I was a bit too excited. Either way once you get the blade kerf dialed in and your first calibration cut out of the way, you are on your way to perfect repeatable cuts. Its also super portable, I brought it with me to my Brother-in-laws and mounted it on his Metabo miter saw while helping him build a fence. Pros: Easy to read display, super accurate, vastly speeds up my cut lists, and comes in a nice foam storage case. Cons: For the cost they could have included the 2 AA batteries needed, make sure the piece you are cutting doesn't have major depressions or knot holes in the path of the measurement wheel ( the wheels distance traveled will be different from the straight length ), and you may not know if your saw is 100% compatible until you're there with the device in hand ... show more

  • Inaccurate and difficult to operate.
Buttons must be pushed very hard to work. You must have t least 6 feet of open area to thr right to calibrate. Clamp requires a lot of pressure to engage. Measurements were off by 1/16" on the average. On the positive side it had a very nice large display and a premium storage box /shipping container. Returned ... show more

  • Perfect Building Material Needed
I love the concept but isn’t practical unless you have perfect material. The instructions are easy to follow (as a concept) but it will take a little time, effort, and patience to get it calibrated right. It has a lot of great functions/ features and I really wanted to love this product! However, it does not measure material that isn't almost perfectly straight, flat, and smooth. I discovered it was off when working with stack of 2x4s. I was cutting a piece of scrap that was bowed and had knotholes. I made the cut and it was obviously short. I then, not trusting my tool, went back and double checked all my previous cuts. Boards with any sort of defect were off from 1/8 to over 1/2”. I verified my suspicions by rerunning the boards. All the almost perfect boards measured true while all the slightly defective boards were off. This tool is probably amazing for anyone working with perfect material. However, most of us have to make do with subpar materials and wouldn’t be able to trust these measurements. ... show more

  • Good tool, Great company
I seldom do reviews to get one you have to be really good or really bad. I purchased the Reekon M1 to use on my sawmill for the vertical movement of the saw and it worked perfectly in spite of not having been designed for that application. It also works well on my miter saw as it’s intended to. Then after a couple of years it refused to power up knowing that warranty's don’t last forever I contacted the company to see if they could repair it before ordering a replacement. After a few emails to troubleshoot the problem they sent me a replacement unit. Long story short this is a tool that works well and is backed by a company that believes in its products and supports its customers. ... show more
