This is actually my second Olight ArkPro Ultra. I lost my first one on a fishing trip, and I liked it so much that I immediately bought another instead of looking at other options. That alone says a lot about how good this flashlight is. The flat design makes it extremely comfortable for everyday carry, and the build quality is excellent. The 1,700-lumen white light is incredibly bright with multiple brightness levels and modes, giving you more options than you'll probably ever need. Whether I'm working around the house, outdoors, or just need a reliable flashlight, it has performed exceptionally well. The green laser is another standout feature. It's exceptionally bright, easy to see even during the day, and incredibly useful for pointing things out while working on projects, identifying objects at a distance, or even communicating with friends while out fishing. I also use the UV light far more often than I expected. It's great for checking hotel rooms when we travel, spotting areas that need extra attention while cleaning, and even for quickly curing certain types of UV resin during hobby projects. It's one of those features that seems like a novelty at first but quickly becomes genuinely useful. Battery life has been excellent, and I appreciate not having to deal with disposable batteries. The controls are intuitive, and switching between the different lighting modes is quick and easy. Overall, this is one of the best EDC flashlights I've owned. Between the premium build quality, outstanding brightness, useful laser and UV light, and the slim pocket-friendly design, it's well worth the price. I carry this flashlight every day. It's very bright. The controls are easy to adjust brightness and to switch between flood and spot lights. There's even an easy to see indicator that shows both brightness level and state of the battery charge. It also includes a ultra violet light(which I never use) and a laser pointer that has excellent range! It is a weighty light but not overly, just with to make it feel like a quality piece of gear. During normal use the battery lasts an extremely long time. I got about a month out of a charge. The only down side is the proprietary charger. It's nice to not have to worry about plugging it in and wearing it the charging port because it just sits on a charging base. Definitely worth every dollar ! ... show more

The most amazing and useful flashlight I've ever owned! This is my third Olight flashlight and I'm very pleased with the sophisticated performance, yet intuitive control - just press a button. But it does different things if you just quick press, long press, double press, etc. But it's not hard to figure it out, to get a soft, medium or bright beam, or flood of light. I've never banged my flashlights around, but they feel like they are super well built and have very long lasting batteries. In fact, I've been using this Arclight Pro for a few weeks to find things in the dark, light the way across the backyard - and the battery meter hasn't moved from full charge yet! ... show more

As with most technologies, “the best” is a moving target and is subjective as far as criteria. For me, this is an excellent choice. Easy controls, fits perfectly in my pocket, powerful or subtle, it’s all depends on your selection. Green laser, UV that shows WAY too many stains (😱), easily recharged. In turbo it is BRIGHT. I carry the Arkpro around in my pocket and it feels so natural that I forget that it's there, despite it being on the heavier side for a flashlight of that size. I love the one lumen mode for saving my toes from furniture at night, and the proprietary floodlight LED does NOT mess around on turbo mode. Like, "I forgot a lighter on my last camping trip and was able to start a fire with dry leaves in less than 5 seconds by pressing the light to them" doesn't mess around. I use the flashlight a lot, especially when I'm rockhounding, and having a 365nm UV light right next to a natural white flood and a neutral white spot light is insanely convenient. So far the battery life has been superb. I have owned the light for a little over 2 months and have charged it once. In that time I've used it for several 1 hr+ tasks and it is still at 4/4 on the battery meter. I actually bought it to use for a specific hobby but I find myself using it all the time. The light is so handy that I don't know why I didn't have one before. The magnets on the bottom end are fairly strong, too; I can stick it to the underside of my car hood and use it as overhead light, snag it and switch to spotlight for a closer look, then switch back to flood light and reattach, all without having to look away from the part I'm working on. The body is also extremely tough. I've dropped it onto rocks in a quarry by mistake like 3 times and it rubs against a set of keys in my pocket and there's barely a scratch on it after 2 months. Also a huge plus that it can survive a quick dunk in the river, because I know that's gonna happen at some point. Solid product. Would be cool if it came in other colours as well (though, I likely would have chosen the olive green anyway). ... show more

This is a great EDC flashlight overall. The clip is the best I’ve used — very secure and easy to attach to a pocket or hat. I really like the strong magnet on the back — I use it all the time to reach for dropped metal parts. The battery life is excellent too. A couple of small drawbacks: It feels a little heavy when clipped to a hat, and I sometimes accidentally turn on the side button laser while it’s in my pocket.
