ASTM F2100 is recognized by the FDA as the consensus standard for medical face masks. The HALYARD• ASTM Level 3 mask is constructed to meet ASTM F2100 requirements. F2100 outlines the minimum performance levels for measurements of breathability, fluid resistance, particle filtration, and flammability. In a healthcare setting, ASTM Level 3 masks are for use during patient care and procedures where the risk of exposure to blood and/ or other bodily fluids is high.

My friend does nails and has breasts Cancer. She wears a N95 but she want something in addition. She wanted something to help keep the nail dust from her face and eyes even thou She wears glasses. I saw the masks with shields, bought her some and she loves them!

i use these for work as a dental hygienist since i wear prescription glasses and googles make them fog up. these masks are a nice alternative but i wish they came in more color options and i wish the top noseband had a better defogging element. otherwise they work well and i will continue using them. ... show more

It's a good mask with the attached shield but they should not advertise it and say it sits on your ear as it does not! The shield does wrap around but it stops just before the ear. I thought it sat on your ear like they advertised!!!!
