I buy tons of clip-ins as I change my hair color often. Right now I'm stepping away from the bleach and letting my hair rest so the easiest color for me to keep is gray. It's is a box dye dark gray over previously bleached hair. I bought the 16in grey clip- in set and had some rit dye on hand if I needed to color match, but you know what? I like the light and dark mix. It makes it look more dimensional. Full thick hair with low weight makes my scalp a happy scalp. I get headaches easily so this is a huge concern for me. I ordered some thinning sheers as well to minimize tangle since these are synthetic. 5 ✨'s!!

I chose these Reecho hair extensions for my daughter in law to try. She has a good amount of hair, but it is fine and she has been talking about trying extensions, but had not gotten around to it. I saw these and thought they would be good for her to try. I was secretly interested in them as well for myself. Neither she or I have ever used hair extensions before, but neither of us ever wanted to commit to getting them done at a salon. When I saw this set it looked like they were easy enough to use and they had a significant number of colors to choose from. The ash color chosen matched her hair very nicely. There are 4 pieces that come with this set and they came pre-curled, which is fine. To test, I had my daughter in (who has naturally wavy hair) let her hair air dry before installing the extensions so they would blend nicely. There were instructions to straighten the hair included, but I was cautious to try this since the hair is synthetic and not human hair. Even though they were synthetic the extensions looked just like my daughter in laws hair when I put them on her. They were super easy to use. All you had to do is open the clip on the extension, section off a piece of hair where you want to add the extension, slide the clip into the hair at the part and then close the clip. Once you lay your real hair over the extension you cannot even tell it is there. There was a little guide book included that helped show where the best placement on the head was. I tried them in my hair as well just to see the look and feel of them and they were very lightweight. As you can see from the before and after photos the extensions looks really good in her hair. The color and the curl blended nicely with her own hair. The only complaint is because the hair is synthetic they were really hot after wearing for about an hour in the 90* humid heat. Overall, these clip in extensions were a hit and while they might not be worn every day, its great just to be able to clip them in easily to get more of a glam look when needed. They exceeded my expectations.
