    • Great gym shoe
I was looking for a good shoe to use in the gym. I'm recovering from a badly sprained foot with a little nerve damage, so wearing my normal hard soled Olympic weightlifting shoes with the high heel lift when doing squats and deadlifts wasn't going to work for me. These shoes really have fit the bill. This past weekend I was able to front squat a PR of 305 in them, so they have the ability to withstand heavier weight without issue. I also really do like the fit of the shoe. They have a nice roomy toebox. The midfoot of the shoe is very supportive, and the heel has a nice lockdown. I initially thought I'd only use these shoes for a couple months while I rehabilitated my foot, but based on the past 8 weeks of use, I may just keep them in the rotation indefinitely, only swapping them out for my Olympic weightlifting shoes when I want to squat 400lbs+. Another area I've I really enjoyed these shoes has been in single leg floor exercises. For example, they are great for Bulgarian split squats and kickstand RDLs. Okay, the title may seem a little misleading but not entirely inaccurate. So I’m a delivery driver and I wore these every working day excluding holidays, vacation time, most weekends and rainy days. But seriously, I average about 10 miles of walking per day and I’ve now had these shoes since last November. Most shoes from other brands last me at least 6 months and while these are falling apart, they’re still holding on and just recently ordered new work shoes. These fit perfectly. I especially like the way they apply my feet foot onto the ground. It feels much more nature that other athletic and running shoes I’ve worn in the past. I used to be a big Brooks fan, but now I’m all about the Reebok Nanos!
