The navy color is bold and bright with a nice contrast to the white stripes. I got the size 7 for my kid who is usually a size 6 or 7. The waist is a little loose but not bad. They still stayed put with jumping and running. These shorts will be great for summer in the hot temperatures. The shorts appeared to hold up to washing and drying. There is no liner sewn in like some athletic shorts, but not a deal breaker. I expect these shorts to last a while due to the Reebok named brand item. These Reebok shorts will keep your girl cool and comfortable, all while looking sporty stylish too. They are made with lightweight and breathable mesh, perfect for keeping you cooler while playing sports or being active outside. The fit is nice, and allows for unrestricted movement. As far as quality, they are great! We have washed and dried, and did not notice any fading or shrinking. As far as sizing, we ordered a size 12, and my daughter typically wears a size 10/12. They fit perfectly. The length is just right, providing coverage yet not too long. And the stretchy waistband allows for a comfortable fit, and ensures the shorts stay put. Not sure why these look boyish on my daughter. They aren’t big but the elastic waste band just looks kind of funky. The material is soft and comfortable. She liked them for running around and playing but I just thought they looked a little boyish for her.
