We can designate which bin is for what type so everything is sorted before we even go to the recycle center...plus it's compact and doesn't take up a lot of space. These are great for recycling! I love that they stack and that the tops flip up for easy access. I had been using little baskets from the Dollar Tree store and they were flimsy and didn’t hold enough. The colors are fun, too. They seem to be big enough to hold my weekly cans, bottles, and plastic. Occasionally I’ll have a big laundry detergent jug that takes up a lot of space, but that is not the norm. If they were bigger they would be a bit unwieldy for me. Be sure to inspect everything closely. My first delivery, the box was crushed in one corner, and all the lids had cracks around the hinges. I sent them back and they quickly reshipped new ones that were perfect! ... show more

These are great, especially at this price, compared to some of the insanely priced recycling bins out there. Love the bright colors. Using them for personal recycling (2) and storage of dog toys/accessories (1) in my NYC apartment. Compact which is perfect for apartment life but doesn’t have as much capacity as I had hoped for. And I’m not sure they would stand up to the elements if left outside. My biggest complaint is that when you open the flap on the lid, the inner edge of the hinge is sharp and can scratch you very easily. Need to put tape over them to protect yourself. Wonderful bins! I've had them for 4 years now, and I still smile at them when I sort my trash in them. They are well-made and just the right size for the amount of recycleables we have each week. They are also just the right size for me to easily bring them to our recycling center.

These bins are a waste. The first time I ordered the bins, they came without the lids, which made them unable to be stacked. I contacted customer support for the product and they informed me that this was a shipping mistake and that I needed to order a whole new set and return the ones that were delivered. The second set showed up, and while they were easy to assemble, they are cheaply made and not sturdy at all. They are barely enough to contain my recyclables, and I’m the only person living here. Two of the three lids arrived broken. Don’t bother getting these even though they’re cute. ... show more

The first time they arrived all the lids were cracked so I returned them and ordered a replacement. The replacement cam and the blue bin lid was cracked. I am keeping them because I like them but wish there was a way to replace just the lid.
