Let me just save you some time and frustration if you are shopping for a Dodge Ram 5.2 or 5.9 Magnum timing chain replacement. Yes...this is the correct part, but there is an incredible amount of slack. I thought I got the wrong chain, so I went to Napa and bought another one. It had even more slack than the Cloyes....then I bought a Napa brand, non double roller, aka..OEM. It had a tremendous amount of slack. Supposedly this slack is okay, but I could not knowingly install a chain with this much slack. SO...order the Cloyes tensioner, used for the 3.9 V6 along with this chain and you will be fine. The media could not be loaded. Appears to be high quality. Installed on a 1998 Dodge Durango 5.2L with no issues. Timing marks are clearly identifiable. Chain slack is within tolerances. Very satisfied customer.

I’ve used Cloyes timing sets before on cars. Good value, good fit, and better than factory quality. If you’re building a daily driver with stock to moderate performance, this is a good bet especially if you’re building a Chrysler engine.

This the poorest excuse for a timing chain EVER, not a Cloys true roller. Bicycle chain maybe.

Guess China is building after market automotive parts (since the USA is incapable of building anything anymore)the timing chain is smaller than a bicycle chain the cam gear timing mark was not in correct place for setting cam to crank timing 💩💩💩💩. very disappointed. Should’ve purchased from Pepboys
