Used this RED WOLF 50A manual-reset circuit breaker as a safety measure on a kids ride-on (Princess Carriage) battery conversion. It’s exactly what I wanted: an inline “fuse you can reset” that protects the wiring/motors from shorts or stalled-motor current spikes without having to keep replacing blade fuses. Install was straightforward with good mounting bracket, solid terminals, and it feels sturdy once tightened down. The reset lever works reliably and makes troubleshooting much easier (trip → fix issue → reset). After multiple rides, it’s been stable with no random trips and no heat issues at the terminals (with proper crimped lugs and tight connections). If you’re doing any Power Wheels / ride-on conversion, this is inexpensive peace of mind and a cleaner solution than constantly swapping fuses.

I was a bit skeptical because this is priced so much lower than the competitors, when I got it I saw no difference whatsoever between this product and the other brand name ones, it is very well made and has performed to my expectations. I actually put a load on it that exceeded the rating of the breaker and it tripped exactly where it should at 50 amps. Very happy with this item and it even has the benefit of coming with new terminals for the boat in case you need them. Everything sized perfectly and easy to install.

We have to use these with our van roof Solar System. They work great and are the best price that we've seen anywhere. We personally always carry a spare because we are on the road and they can blow out. They work great and have saved us from a "trip" or two.

No Issues So Far – But Worth Being Aware of Mixed User Experiences I'd give this RED WOLF 50A circuit breaker a solid 4 stars based on my own experience. So far I've had no issues with it in my solar system installation—it trips correctly, resets cleanly with the manual reset switch, and has held up reliably under normal operating conditions. The 12V-48V compatibility makes it versatile across a range of applications including solar, marine, trolling motor, and automotive use, and the inline fuse design makes installation straightforward in most 12V circuit protection setups. The manual reset feature is a practical advantage over one-time-blow fuses, allowing the circuit to be restored quickly after a trip without needing a replacement fuse on hand. Build quality feels adequate for the application and the price point. That said, I want to be honest that I've come across some other users who have had negative experiences with this product—whether related to premature trips, longevity, or reliability under heavier loads.
