The lamp needs to provide more stability when it is raised or moved downward. On the positive side, the lamp provides the two wavelengths that many studies have shown provide healing for many health problems. The lengths are 850nm and 660nm. Studies also show that red light therapy instruments need at least 30W. Power. This lamp has 36W. The main challenge that our nation faces in re. red light therapy includes the need for our citizens and health care workers to learn the substantial scientific findings that already exist. Red light therapy is revolutionizing our understanding of biology, longevity and human well-being. One of the main findings is the need to expose as much bare skin as possible to proper red light treatment. The name used for this is whole body therapy. The lamp at issue here allows home treatment of limited areas like a knee or shoulder. In addition to this lamp I have a broad red light therapy belt that I use once or twice a day to effectively control back pain. I also have setup an instrument that will allow full body therapy, hopefully once a day.

I’ve just started using the light, but in terms of durability and quality, it’s quite great! I wasn’t expecting much since it was so inexpensive but I am overall very pleased. Still need time to see results

This is bright, seems fairly well-made, and seems to do what they say it will. Not sure if this therapy aspect is real and/or if this light will actually work for that purpose, but as of now it's what I expected in a good way. The clamp really is pretty worthless as it can't support the weight of the light, but I do like that I can move this places without having to unscrew it from a socket.

The bulb is great but mine arrived with the holder already broken at the point where the metal meets the plastic clip. So it was not usable. (I'm wondering if I was shipped someone's broken return item.) Don't know so I will be returning it. Shoddy manufacturing. It's a shame and causes countless hours of people having to trek to a drop off center to return items. If you make it right the first time, I don't mind paying a bit more for something that doesn't break.

Good price but the weight of the bulb is too heavy and the clamp swivel cannot support the weight so it always bends down so the ability to position the bulb is limited.
