We bought this table cloth because of the waterproof designation. It is far from waterproof. first I made a depression to pour water in. The water stayed in the depression, but when I made it into a bag and squeezed little jets of water sprayed through every part of the weeave. Then I layed it out on the counter and poured water on it. It did bead up, but when I rubbed it even a little the water went right through and made a puddle on the counter. It is nice material, but not waterproof. If you are trying to protect a wood table this fabric will not do it! ... show more
