My husband loved the sentiment behind this hammer however, the wood doesn't drive all the way up through the metal head, it's glued partially in it. Not sure about the strength of the product, will have to test. Seems more ornamental than practical.

Funny, I didn't know this business was out of NC and so close to home! I loved it and it made the perfect gift for my sisters wedding!
