This is a very well made product and not flimsy at all. We have been using it nonstop at the lake as it is attached to the dock. I like the fact that this ladder also comes with everything you need to install on the dock and be able to remove just the ladder without removing the screws and metal holder. This will be nice for removing the ladder in the winter. A previous buyer had photos which really helped me to make the decision to purchase this product. I would recommend and purchase again.

We had been talking about getting a ladder for the front deck of our pontoon boat as we have an older model that doesn't have one going off of the back of the boat. Spent the money to get one for this summer and it was well worth it!! Assembles in roughly 15 minutes, install the the brackets on the front deck and done!! Very sturdy when doing beach landings or just swimming in the middle of the lake. It can also be used on the side entrance of the boat as well. It just unhooks from the deck brackets when not in use. We just lay it on the front deck until ready to use again!! Totally recommend it if you've been thinking about one

Compared to the little wimpy ladder I had before this one, I am delighted with this ladder. It hooks neatly into two handle-like holders on the flat floor of the boat and then rotates downward into place. Four steps are the right amount for us swimmers climbing out of the water to get onto the boat, I had all of my friends (some older and heavy) express appreciation for the ease of use of the ladder. It comes as a kit so you must put it together with bolts but that was easy. I fasten it to the front of the boat with bungee cords and attached a float to the ladder in case it somehow breaks free and tries to sink to the bottom of the lake. The wide steps are better than simple round pipes on my feet. So far with one summer of heavy duty on the lake it is still as good as new. Hopefully, the welds hold for years to come!

Love the portable ladder for m pontoon. I have to install the hooks, and I think they will be a little I the way as a tripping hazard. I may have to paint the hooks orange or red.

Used on end of floating pond dock (super easy installation). Made getting in and out of pond a breeze. We can avoid mud and weeds. The fourth step was the way to go - means not having to bend knees so much and less reliance on arm strength to haul yourself out of the water - a plus if you are older. Ladder comes off easily for end of season. Super light but very sturdy. Should have done this years ago.

I bought this to replace an old ladder for my swimming/dive platform. I wish I had purchased this years ago instead of attempting to fix the old ladder. The instructions for putting it together were a little minimal. The instructions were specific enough to tell me which direction to put the stair treads. I'm not sure I would have figured that out on my own. But there were 4 washers, two bigger, and two smaller. I couldn't figure out where they were supposed to go. The OD of the bigger washer was too big to use anywhere on the ladder. I assume they were supposed to be used to mount the brackets to my dock/platform. But the ID were bigger than the nuts. I wound up buying two more SS washers with smaller ID. Not a big deal. I weigh about 200LBS when I'm wet and have had a good lunch. The ladder feels plenty sturdy under my weight, even if I bounce around on it.

Item arrived quickly and as described. It is made from nice quality/grade aluminum and It was easy to put together and simple to install. The ladder is attached to my floating dock and is very stable allows for easy egress from the water. When installed with included hardware, it is very easy to quickly remove and reattach to dock without any tools. Good product. It is sturdy enough for my use and Side rails could be heavier duty, but then it would probably weigh much more and be a bit tougher to put on and take off. Overall, very satisfied with purchase.
