The product was not textured on one side as I thought it would be, its smooth on both sides. I wasn't sure if their was a proper side to apply the adhesive. However, the product did adhere to the roof and working out the air pockets wasn't to cumbersome. The RV rubber roofing should come rolled. I received it folded in a box so when I installed it the creases from the fold created raised areas on the slide out roof. I was very disappointed.
