I bought this Filon fiberglass panel to rebuild a delaminated front cap on my travel trailer, and I couldn't be more impressed. Excellent repair/replacement fiberglass material. This skin is very flexible and easy to conform to curved surfaces. This was sent in a tough cardboard tube and rolled up in the foot length. This does require cautious flattening out and then rolling it up the 102" length, letting it warm up to help un-curl the sheet. After 5 hours in the sun it was ready for installation on the overhead nose cap repair. It installed and formed perfectly to the curvature. I've never replaced fiberglass skin before but with a little educational instructions I did it. This repair Looks great. ... show more

The inner side of the access door on my Passport trailer started cracking badly from years of use. More recently, it started too split in two with only the outer fiberglass skin and outer aluminum trim holding it together. (The inner skin looked like it was nothing but contact paper and was deteriorating.) Besides being expensive, I was afraid a new door may not fit well or match the rest of the trailer. So, I ordered a 2' x 6' sheet of this product with the wild idea of laminating it onto the existing skin (I was afraid to spray the contact cement directly to the styrofoam, fearing it may dissolve it). . The material arrived in a few days and it came in a very heavy duty cardboard tube. It was a job but I was able to complete the project the way I hoped to. I was even able to fit the trim over the edge of the fiber glass, giving it a stronger hold. The door is now stronger than the original and it looks wonderful! ... show more
