If you make a mistake and buy the wrong shade or just have very fair skin, the white is great for mixing your own colors. Love this for the winter on my skin. Mixes well with the drugstore liquid foundations I’ve tried, dries kind of dewy? Depends on what you mix it with, but if you want a true matte finish you’d want to use another product to set it. I find on me having skin that’s dewy and too light makes me look kind of gross and sick if I’m going too minimal with the rest of my appearance but that’s just my experiences. I like to mix 1/3 of this and 2/3 another fair foundation so there is still warmth. If I want a more “alt” look that day I’ll use a bit more white and try to go more cool toned but use warm toned shades to sculpt, I think this is pretty trendy at the moment. So versatile and easy to use so use your own creativity and the options are endless. Unless you’re going for a more alternative or specific styled look though, I wouldn’t recommend using this on its own because it looks un natural, worse than using something that doesn’t match but is a bit warmer imo. Even when you dilute this with moisturizer. However it’s still so great because it’s so neutral it works well with additional warm and cool tones. I haven’t tried flash photography with using a combination with this but from the other images it looks like it doesn’t have an aluminum foil reflecting affect, if I find I look like a disco ball in a picture later on down the line I’ll share my update here lol.

If you are looking for a heavily pigmented stark white similar to face paint this isn’t for you, but it is an excellent white foundation! Make sure to set with powder and use primer for best results. I’m already quite pale but this adds the extra ‘deathly’ look I’m going for as a goth! :) Only reason I knocked a star off is because you do need quite a bit to achieve a ‘white’ and it tends to sort of run off if not decently powdered.

I was hesitant to buy this because I've had other white concealers or foundations in the past that left my skin dry, cakey, and with dry patches. This product is completely the opposite. Even without a primer, I had applied a thin layer to my face, and it looked so even with no patchiness, it was so dewy, not drying/creasing at all, and it honestly didn't even look like I was wearing foundation. It is very sheer but easily buildable, and even looking closely in the mirror I was unable to tell that I was wearing any foundation on my face.

This white foundation is great for stunning cosplay makeup looks. However, I use it to make my regular foundation blend better. Sometimes when I haven't been out in the sun my normal skin tone foundation can look a tad too dark and not blend naturally around my jaw and neck. If I add a tiny drop of this white to it I can match my skin perfectly. When using the foundation on its own, the coverage is nice. It's moisturizing and not heavy or chalky feeling. Unlike Halloween white face paint that comes in a tube or stick (used for clowns and vampires), this feels like normal makeup. It goes on sheer but is easy to build up to an opaqueness without looking streaky.

I did half/half for comparison One side of my face has the regular porcelain color the other has the white foundation. Can you tell which is which? It brightens and hides the redness and blue veins perfectly. But I think I’ll have to shave my peach fuzz with my straight razor so it will go on smooth. No amount of cream, moisturizer, primer, or anything super hydrating has been able to make the white foundation look photo finish. But I do really like it. Oh! Super important! Use a wet (very lightly damp foundation sponge) and squirt on the same amount as the tip of a 10g needle. ASK ME HOW MANY TIMES I REDID IT ALL BEFORE FIGURING OUT THE MAGIC AMOUNT NUMBER?!? Hint it’s more then 20 and less then the number required for me to toss out the product as a failure.
