This review is for Record Player Stand with Vinyl Storage, Large Wooden Record Storage Cabinet Holds 200+ Albums, Turntable Stand for Living Room & Bedroom, Round Shelf Design, Vintage The first thing I want to put out there is that I love this product. The second thing is that the power outlet is on the right side of the unit if you’re facing it, not the left as it is displayed in listing pictures. This isn’t a deal breaker or anything but I kind of would have liked the outlet to have been on the left. At first I thought maybe I just had it flipped the wrong way while building... but it’s impossible to accidently put this thing together the wrong way due to where all the holes and stuff are to screw things in. The most difficult part to assemble is putting the long screws in on the stabilizers that go on the bottom of every shelf. The Alen wrench is the only tool you can use to do it and with those rods being flush against the wood it’s just a pain in the butt. Worth it though to keep the whole thing stable. For the parts where you needed a screwdriver… get yourself a drill to do this and just put it on a low setting so you don’t go too hard and crack the wood. Your wrists and joints will thank you for it. I love the way this unit is set up. My record player fits perfectly on the top, the speakers down below and the records stand up nicely in the slotted sections for them. The only thing I worry about is if you don’t have enough records to get them to stand up and they are just leaning heavily on those metal bent rods.. would it damage the vinyl, even through the cardboard covers? Probably not… but it will make divots in the cardboard over time so maybe just be mindful of that. This is a really classic piece though overall. I’m tickled pink to own it. The built-in power outlet is honestly one of my favorite features of this record player stand. I can plug in my turntable and receiver right from the unit, which keeps cords off the floor and makes everything look much cleaner.
