  • Handmade by Amish Artisans from genuine reclaimed barnwood in Lancaster County, PA. Available multiple depths, sizes and colors.
  • Mounting into studs is recommended, but not required; drywall anchors included
  • Please be sure to look at ALL the available pictures to see the different variations of distressing and coloration that may occur. Every nail hole, paint mark, divot, scrape and scratch are evidence of the decades of life this wood has exprienced in the barns. We do not add to or take away from the naturally occurring beauty of the wood used to make these shelves. Distressing and color will vary depending on where the wood was used in the barns.
  • Important Note: Natural (no stain) shelves are not stained or finished in any way. All coloring is naturally occurring from decades in working barns. When the shelves are cut to size, the ends may be lighter or a different color, as they have not been previously exposed the elements.

I read all the reviews before I purchased. The wood was what it is portrayed in the product, it's reclaimed with knots, and holes but were not warped. They were fine. The reviews stated that the brackets that come with the shelves were a bit hard to install and they seemed a little less sturdy than what I was looking for. So, I researched floating shelf brackets and found what I show in the picture. I had to chisel out the back to accommodate the wider bracket. The brackets are wider than the 2x4 studs, so only 2 screws are sunk into the stud, which is plenty strong. The other two screws went into the mollys they provided. But if you use their long screw into the plastic molly it started to spin, so I just used a shorter screw. Very happy with the shelves with the modified brackets. ... show more

I love the shelves! They are perfect in my hall bathroom for attractive but useful storage. The mounting hardware was missing from my box but a quick trip to Home Depot and they were easily installed.

These are fine for shelves. They don’t look to bad and the the mounting hardware is very clever. It is more of a rough unfinished cut and will give splinters if your not careful. At the end of the day, these are just old looking 2x4s they are reselling as shelving.
