Very bright. It came pre charged and it doesn’t get hot after a few hours. It also came with a padded case with a big pocket on front with a long C charger and some pictures with tracing paper to test it on

The product serves it's purpose in that you can use it anywhere, even if there's no outlet. It's rechargeable so once you get it completely charged up you get about 4 hours of light on the brightest setting, about 5-6 on the dimmer setting. And while you could definitely use it afterwards by simply plugging it back into the USB, it kind of defeats the purpose and the company that makes it doesn't really recommend it since it lowers the battery life. So if you are like me and like to do your diamond pictures for several hours at a time you may want to have a back up LED pad for when this one needs to be recharged. Otherwise it's a really nice product and comes with a good quality storage bag for on the go! ... show more
