This lifelike vinyl doll is worth the current price. It is adorable and looks so realistic. The arms and legs can be moved, making him easy to pose. He has a soft body and is cuddly. The quality is excellent. Now, mind you, this isn't a full silicone doll, there is a difference between silicone and vinyl dolls. Vinyl dolls are harder than the squishy silicone dolls available. My daughter loves her dolls, including this one. She loves changing his clothes and treating him like her baby. It makes an excellent gift for kids, but they're also ideal for seniros dealing with dementia.

I really wanted to love this doll. However, first of all, it doesn't look like it does in the photos. The title says "Reborn," and if you know anything about Reborn Dolls, you will know that this definitely doesn't fall into that category. First, it was WAY overstuffed. It's not floppy like a Reborn should be, and it's NOT weighted like a Reborn should be. The facial features are cute, but they are not realistic. This would never pass as a "real" baby like real Reborns are supposed to. Its cute as a baby doll for a child, but the price is too high for a child's toy doll that doesn't do anything, (nor is it a real Reborn). The accessories are cute, but the magnetic paci doesn't stay on at all. Either the magnet isn't placed properly or it's just not that strong. I rated it 3 stars because it is a cute doll, and a child would probably be really happy to receive this (if you want to dish out $50+ USD for a baby doll that doesn't do anything). I will be doing some surgery on my baby. Removing some stuffing, adding some weight, adding a stronger magnetic for his little paci, rooting some hair, and whatever else I can do to upgrade him closer to a REAL Reborn!

The pictures in the advertisement are so cute, but holding this doll, it feels over-stuffed and not the least bit baby floppy. The head and face are cute, but it just feels like holding a football with a baby head on it. Seems well-made.

This little reborn baby boy is more realistic in its colors the way the face is painted than another one that we have that is from the same mold but from a different seller. My daughters have wanted a boy doll and since this matches the one of the girls that she already had, I thought this would be great to have twins, but comparing the two yoh can see this little baby boy "Aron", has much more realistic paint and coloring, and I like the painted on hair. The limbs are contorted like a scrunched up newborn. The face is a matte look but the limbs have shine to them, which make them look like plastic more. The body is tightly packed and firm. The limbs are not and have nothing in them. So this would need to be taken apart and weighted differently all over to have a more realistic floppy newborn feel. The head shows cranial sutures and the soft spot just like a real newborn baby. I wish there were more neutral colors for the accessories, like the magnetic pacifier and baby bottle because they are pink. I took a close-up of one of the cheeks. It is showing signs of shiny scratches. I don't know how well the paint is sealed or maybe it's because it only has a plastic bag up against the skin when coming to you, there is no protection to keep the paint job pristine. This would be a good starter doll for a younger age. If you want to make sure they are responsible enough for more expensive one later on or sometimes we fix them up weight them and give them as gifts. If you're wanting to practice making dolls more realistic. but I afraid to do the paint work. This is a good deal to start. They have taken care to cover the zip ties with extra fabric and glue it down so that would need to be undone first and hand sewn back together. You can see in the one close-up of the armpit they have realistic veins painted on and a full shoulder so they can wear short sleeves without seeing any fabric.
