My four year loves baby dolls. She's been "take care" of them since she was about a year old and has had the cloth "first doll" types and the soft fabric body dolls with the plastic appendages. This is her first "reborn" type of doll. I personally think the doll is a bit overpriced. The eyes don't actually open and close, which was very unexpected considering one of the images for the listing shows the doll laying on her belly with her eyes closed. For a "reborn" doll that's supposed to be similar to a real baby, constantly wide open eyes are an odd and unrealistic choice. The back and neck also has some odd spots of residue that I'm not sure if it's defects in the plastic or if it's glue from the manufacturer adding the battery compartment. The painted on hair is something I'm not a fan of. I'm no professional painter but I could have done a better job with a fan brush and small detail brush. It's not realistic by any stretch. The doll has a few accessories like a bottle and a pacifier. The only clothes that come with it are the ones on the body and they fit fine. I haven't dug any of my daughter's baby clothes out to test my theory but I do think regular newborn clothes would fit it since it seems to be the size of a standard newborn baby. I am however impressed by the noise quality. It isn't just the standard crying. There are all sorts of coos but I will say that a real newborn will not say "mama" so while cute, unrealistic for what is marketed as a newborn "reborn" doll. ***If you are gifting this doll to a child, the 3 AA batteries are NOT included*** Lastly, the instructions and "birth certificate". Poorly written and translated to English. Honestly, these will be going into the recycling bin. Overall, it's an ok doll but I think it's overpriced and I would not order it again for gifting to another kid.

My granddaughter was pleased with the doll. I thought the body would’ve been more squishy. I didn’t care for the painted hair either but again my granddaughter was happy and that’s what matters most!
