    • Perfect solution
This was a nice two piece muffler system. My old muffler was only rusted out at the place where the pipe enters the muffler. So, I only had to replace that section of this two piece system. While it was still somewhat difficult in maneuvering it in place, it turned out to be just what was needed.

    • Fits a 2006 Mini Cooper R 50
Exhaust system fit my R50 almost perfect, only problem was the metal ears on the exhaust pipe were too long and vibrated and the sides of the floor pan, easy fix since there is no way the pipe can slide off, I cut the tips off the hangers and no more vibrations.

While they claim this will fit - it won't, and they will charge you for the delivery. So, if they say it will fit and then doesn't - they will still make on the return shipping or hope you won't return the item. Buy parts locally instead. What a racket!!

Perfect fit on my 2005 R50 Mini Cooper! Buy a nice stainless tip for the muffler, it will look a lot better. Also buy the damn rear hangars, will save you a lot of heartache.

    • Hangar bars are too long for a 2004 Mini Cooper
I bought this along with the recommended Walker36511 muffler strap, The hangar bars were too long on both the pipe and the muffler strap causing them to bump against the car's heat shield. The hangar bars that are located midway on the exhaust pipe were both too long and had to be cut off about 1/2 inch each and then a washer was spot welded on the end of each after they were inserted into the rubber hangers. Luckily I was in friend's home garage and he has a spot welder. One of the two hangers on the muffler strap was also too long - the one on the driver's side. It too had to be cut off about 1/2 inch to stop it from rubbing and a washer was spot welded on its end once it was in the rubber hangar. Poor engineering for parts that were supposed to fit 2002-08 Mini Coopers. ... show more
