Fit my 2006 base Mini Cooper. I ended up only using the Muffler. I cut my original pipe as my front pipe bolts are extremely rusted and this allowed me to not mess with extra broken bolts. The sleeve that comes with this fit my original exhaust perfectly. Very happy with the results.

    • Perfect solution
This was a nice two piece muffler system. My old muffler was only rusted out at the place where the pipe enters the muffler. So, I only had to replace that section of this two piece system. While it was still somewhat difficult in maneuvering it in place, it turned out to be just what was needed.

    • Fits a 2006 Mini Cooper R 50
Exhaust system fit my R50 almost perfect, only problem was the metal ears on the exhaust pipe were too long and vibrated and the sides of the floor pan, easy fix since there is no way the pipe can slide off, I cut the tips off the hangers and no more vibrations.

    • Fits 2006 mini cooper with some issues
I bought this for 2006 mini cooper where this is the 4th time I've replaced the muffler due to corrosion. The price of this part is what attracted me to it. This is first assembly I have put on the mini that had 2 pipes provided with a connector in the middle connecting the straight pipes. The middle connector did not work. It leaked badly. I bought another connector and tried it again with the same result. I believe the exhaust pipe must have been damaged and one side of it was slightly flattened out so the connector wouldn't seal the pipes. I wound up welding the pipes together with a short section of 2" I.D. pipe. Overall the product looks fine and I did not encounter the rod being too long issues others have complained about. ... show more

Perfect fit on my 2005 R50 Mini Cooper! Buy a nice stainless tip for the muffler, it will look a lot better. Also buy the damn rear hangars, will save you a lot of heartache.

    • dont trust these guys
While they claim this will fit - it won't, and they will charge you for the delivery. So, if they say it will fit and then doesn't - they will still make on the return shipping or hope you won't return the item. Buy parts locally instead. What a racket!!
