Great makeup blender for BODY & face. Extra large size works fantastic on both surfaces. Soft but not mushy. Cleans fairly East. One thing I noticed, it is prone to small tares but for the price, you can always buy more than 1 at a time.

I really like this sponge. Covers a lot of surface area and makes fast setting foundations apply so beautifully without them getting all patchy like what happens when I use smaller sponges. I also don't have an issue with it ripping. My nails are kept short, and when I squeeze the water out, I try to not dig my nails into it or contort it too much. Just gently wring out the water. Use both of your palms and squish it flat. That will help with the longevity of a bigger sponge like this. ... show more

I usually use this to blend my concealer and sometimes I use it for foundation. I wash it once or twice a week and it's pretty difficult to clean it up but everything blends beautifully. SO, I bought this sponge and on my first review I wrote that it was too hard even after getting it wet. The sponge actually got softer after a couple of washes. Try submerging it in warm water. Take in to consideration the size of the sponge; you'll see that its mass is going to be denser when is soaked. Is not sponge as soft as a beauty blender, but it still is soft. My only complaint is that it is a bit of a pain to clean, but F it! I like it and it cuts my foundation routine in half. ... show more

I use this sponge to apply foundation to my neck and face. I had seen it used in a make up tutorial and decided to try it for myself. I was hesitant because it is marketed as a body sponge; however, it is awesome! Because of its larger size, not only is it faster, but it also gives my face and neck a “smooth” finish. I get it wet, squeeze out the excess water, squeeze a dime sized (maybe smaller) amount of foundation directly on the sponge, then blot and blend.
