I bought these shorts for my son who is a big boy. He says they're comfortable. They fit nice and I actually bought him another set. So far after several washings they've held their shape and continue to do their job. They have pockets and they fit nice on my big son.

The shorts are quite nice. Very comfortable, fit very well and pleasantly the legs are decently long. Shorts tend to have a problem that if you wear them on your waste they don't even go to your knees and look like short shorts, but these nicely meet the knee. They are thin so I have concerns about the durability from wear and tear, but I want to be clear at the time of writing there have been no issues in that regard so far. The 1 flaw (how big the flaw is will depend on the person) is the tie string is far to small. I ordered the 5x and since these come in 3-5x I have a suspicion they use the same string for all 3 sizes but it's too small for the 5x. One side of the string constantly gets pulled into the shorts every time I put them on. Now when I wear them on my waist(which includes my stomach) I don't need to tie them so it's not a huge deal, but when I wear them on my hips, which I do when I wear them under my work pants, I do and it's always a battle to keep the string from being lost in the shorts and when tying them you have such little length to work with you have to make a tiny, tiny bow and often it will pull through leaving you with a knot you then have to undo. It's still a 4 star though because they are comfortable and you can't beat the price. You're getting 3 pairs for the price of 1 at big and tall.

I love these shorts. The only thing I would warn people about is the thin fabric. I somehow had a hole in one of the pockets within the first week (my keys maybe?). If you're looking for a nice comfortable fit and breathable fabric for the awful heat outside definitely give these a try.

I'm a big dude that likes loose shorts that are long enough to go below the knee when I am standing or sitting. These fit great and they are cheap for big man anything. You can't get three of anything at a big shop for less than 40 bucks. They are cool on a hot day but wear like iron and wash up great with no shrinking. I live in these all the time. The pockets are big enough to throw a wallet and cell phone in and go to town!

The material of the shorts feel great. I’d compare it to a smooth almost satin feel. I wanted a short that wasn’t mesh or cotton. Some reviews here call it “thin” but that is the nature of “quick dry” shorts or “moisture wicking” which these are advertised to be. The fit runs a little bigger than I expected. I could have probably ordered a size down and still been fine. I’m only a 5’2 guy and the length of the shorts falls several inches below my knee. I’ve seen some reviews complaining about the length of the shorts. Even if you’re 6ft it should hit at the knee I’d guess. The colors are slightly darker in person than online, but that doesn’t concern me. They do have drawstrings.
