This mouse has a small footprint with very basic features. One of our Windows 10 computers has a built-in Bluetooth interface that paired easily and quickly with the mouse. Our other Windows 10 desktop computer does not have Bluetooth technology built into it so we’d have to purchase a Bluetooth dongle adaptor if we want to use the mouse on that computer. The mouse has a right and left button as well as a clickable scroll wheel. The shape of the mouse does not favor either right or left hand. This mouse is a little smaller and more compact than most and fits comfortably in my husband’s fairly large hands. The documentation that came with the mouse has very little information I can use. One of the pictures on this product page claims the battery lasts up to 15 months, but I can find no owner or user manual on HP’s website to confirm this. I left the mouse alone for about 30 minutes and the mouse did not appear to enter into any sleep mode I could recognize. I’m waiting to see how long the battery actually lasts. There is an on/off switch on the bottom if I remember to turn it off while I’m away from the computer. In general, this basic mouse provides for smooth control and scrolling. The HP wireless mouse is a great improvement over the one I used previously. It is ergonomic and connects via bluetooth smoothly (no dongle!).

This item was a return & sent to me dirty. There is no warranty and cannot be installed according to the HP website. Why do you sale items like this???

    • It's not as tall as I'd like, and seems to place extra strain on my wrist
If you have carpal tunnel syndrome, or are concerned about it, I don't think I'd recommend you buy this mouse. It's small and light, which have advantages, but it seems to make you have to operate it differently than a "more normal-sized" mouse. People have their preferences, and small is nice when you're traveling, but I'm not sure this mouse should be used routinely. Get a heavier and/or slightly taller one, if you share these concerns - especially if you have any hint of developing carpal tunnel syndrome. I think this mouse will (over time) aggravate these conditions more than other-sized mice would. ... show more
