These shorts are quite comfortable and fit very nicely, however, you certainly get what you pay for in quality. After my first wear, two of the shorts had already begun unraveling slightly. However, a quick snip of the loose threads have held off that problem for the time being. In terms of appearance, they do really look nice in person! The designs are what you would expect from a far more expensive shorts brand, while only setting you back a small fraction of the price. In terms of sportswear, they're very stretchy and lightweight while not feeling overly cheap (despite my issues with the loose threads). These shorts are a decent deal for the price — you get five pairs, and they’re lightweight and breathable, which is great for workouts or just lounging around. The mesh material keeps you cool, especially during summer. That said, the quality is a bit hit or miss. Some pairs fit slightly differently than others, and the stitching doesn’t feel super durable. One pair started to fray after just a few washes. Also, the pockets are a bit shallow — things like phones tend to fall out if you’re moving around a lot. They fit snug around my thighs. ✅ the pocket sizes are standard and same size as my hand width and length ✅ these shorts are 100% polyester and they feel like silk and smooth, when they are wet however, they cling to my legs ✅ the draw string came already tied out the package but it is still easy to use. ✅ I was shocked especially by the how lightweight these shorts are when I go running and working out with weights. When I first ordered this I assumed it was going to cheap shorts that will do its jobs of basically keeping me somewhat cool but not at the scale of Champions or any other more popular shorts. And when I first got it the material felt kinda rough. To my absolute surprise, wearing it from the inside is insanely comfortable, and it kept me extremely cool even out in the blazing 99 degree sun. I actually feel chilly here and there with these shorts unlike my other mainstream shorts. These shorts also dry quickly and great for workouts so if Merryweather fleet is ever attacking you in the water, you will easily dry off in 10 seconds. The only downside is the medium pockets, great for most things but if you carry a large phone, large wallet, bunch of keys, and a lanyard with badge the pockets are indeed small and things will slip out. If driving, your keys (by itself in the pocket) and large phone may lip out partially. If you jump around a lot, your phone will fly away to Narnia never to be seen again (rip samsung galaxy 2023-2026. 5/5 would buy again ... show more
