It fits all his socks, boxers, shorts and pjs easily. The frame is metal and the top is a wood type material which makes it much sturdier than others with the fabric drawers. I needed to replace a shorter, wider set of drawers that just didn't hold very much. This went together very nicely and gives me a taller, more narrow unit with very good, deep storage drawers. It's fairly sturdy, but you wouldn't want to fill it entirely with very heavy objects, because it might get tippy. But it's perfect for my cat toys, craft items, gift wrap bags, and "misc. stuff"..and two drawers are devoted to tools and things like nails and screws. I separated them into two drawers because they were my "heavy" items, and that works great! I also like that I can easily pull a drawer completely out to look through it. ... show more

Purchased two of these as storage solutions for a larger closet. Was not disappointed. Better than the all too familiar plastic bins. Both Aesthetically Pleasing and Easy to Assemble. Drawers are deep and the included inserts that provide a degree of sturdiness were an appreciated surprise.

I am a 74-year-old woman and from the time I removed the item from the box to completely assembled, it took approx. 0.5 hrs. Everything fit perfectly. Holes lined up and the directions were top-notch, even though you could assemble it without them. I did spend a few minutes looking for my tool kit but kazam the tools were included. All the packaging was perfect. This is a genuinely nice little dresser. It is sturdy and pretty. I purchased the one with different colored fabric inserts. I can see many uses for it. We are short on space, but I’m big on clothes. This holds quite a bit, is not in the way, and is sturdy enough for my use. It fit my budget, has pull handles that make it look like “real” furniture, and was easy to put together.
