Description

At ReadyWise Food, we lead the food industry when it comes to emergency preparedness. We work with organizations like the American Red Cross to make sure families are ready for the unexpected. This is why we created our unique line of emergency food rations and meals designed for use in natural disasters or for long-term shelf storage. Made from a combination of freeze-dried and dehydrated ingredients, each entrée tastes great while also providing the calories and protein your body needs for survival. The food retains its original flavor, shape, color, and nutritional value while taking up less space, and our innovative process doesn’t require hot water to rehydrate the meal (though it is preferred). Even if the power is out or you’re stuck on the mountain overnight, all you need is one cup of water of any temperature to rehydrate and enjoy a filling entrée. The rations are sealed using an ultra- high-barrier film, which is designed to provide optimum protection for oxygen- and moisture-sensitive products with long shelf-life requirements. That means your emergency rations can last up to 25 years. Each bucket contains 120 servings with 13 different meal options to choose from. Whether you’re stocking emergency preparedness supplies or looking for quality backpacking food, ReadyWise meals are easy, nutritious, and ready to go when you need them. Check out our entire selection of emergency, adventure, and everyday freeze-dried and dehydrated meals.

  • Simple and organic
Size: 90 Servings - Organic Bucket
The bucket is not full, but everything was in there and nothing was busted. I do wish the packages of food had a more consistent and easier to read printing on them, that's my biggest complaint. You can definitely save a lot of money by just going out and finding 100% (or USDA 95%) organic food and dehydrating it if needed and vacuum sealing it with a oxygen eater. ... show more

  • Do not buy. Broken packaging.
Size: 52 Servings - Prepper Pack Bucket
Always check the packaging on anything you buy. There was the strong smell of sugar before I even took this thing out of the box it came in. I then tore the seal off and was very quickly disappointed in a product I spent 75 dollars for. This is because three of the packages had holes in them. The seal of the bucket itself isn't anything special so if I can smell the open packaging before I even take the seal off, that means bugs and animals can as well. The food in here is no good for 25 years, literally half it would have been eaten by animals or spoiled long before I would have needed it. Since the package date on the torn packages are a few months old, I suppose they are still fine to be consumed for a few months or so, depending on how the manufacturer stored them at their warehouse and how I store them now, but nowhere near the 25 year shelf life that was advertised. considering their complete lack of quality control, I call into question everything about the product, including the dates. This is not how food is supposed to be handled. If anyone was actually considering these guys for their emergency food needs, you are making a mistake that you won't realize for several decades and by then, when you open the buckets, it will be too late. ... show more
