I love the concept but, while I found the quality of construction to be very good, there are flaws in the execution of the design that make it impractical. I definitely feel it was designed for a man’s body as it is not ergonomic for a smaller woman, as many other reviews have pointed out, even though women are probably more likely to use this. It’s too large and my upper back was hurting within 2 minutes of using it. I also tried to use it with my office chair as it is advertised to provide good back support for sitting, but it’s way too deep to fit on a standard chair. Very cool that you can adjust the resistance, but the resistance on the lowest setting is so high that I can’t imagine needing to increase it. It’s also very heavy and bulky so I can’t imagine it being convenient to just throw behind your back in bed when you have to rock a baby. Idea: Ready Rocker Light, smaller and lighter with less resistance for the more petite half of the population.

At nearly 80, I spend a lot more time readings or watching tv in my upholstered loveseat than I would like to admit. All this sitting usually results in back and hip pain when standing. I’ve spent hundreds on cushions in an effort to find relief, with limited success. This rocker backrest has changed my game completely. I feel terrific support while seated — and zero pain when I get up to walk. Note that I now spend the day sitting up straight, not reclining. The difference is truly remarkable. (If I do choose to recline, I remove the backrest. But when naptime’s over, it’s right back behind me and supporting my back in all the right places.

I truly wanted to love this product, but it just did not work out that way. When it comes to quality, this rocker feels very well made and sturdy. The size was a little bigger than I expected, but figured it was okay because my husband would be mostly using it. However, when it came time to use, it just did not feel comfortable to rock. It was too much work to function as a go to option for us. The concept of this product is wonderful, but the execution needs some work to truly make it a staple for an on-the-go rocking chair.

OMG! NO more slouching while watching tv or at my desk! I was losing feeling in my fingers from nerve compression. I bought 2. One for my desk chair and one for couch. Life changing! Its not a pretty site if guests come over, ugly eye sore, but for health of my back, spine and hands... even my legs had been getting achy... these little back supports are life changing! Wow! Very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend to fellow slouchers with back or neck pain or radiating aches or numbness.

This is a sturdy product. I got it for my wife (in 70's) who likes to rock. She doesn't like it very much. She finds it uncomfortable, and you have to put out some effort to do the rocking motion. I also do not like the effort needed to rock; that is not relaxing. It may be fine for you. Without knowing you, I can not recommend this product.

I accidentally purchased another stool that looks almost like it, but doesn't rock, on Walmart, flipping between the two, price checking, and clicked the wrong one. It didn't take long to realize I need to send the one back to Walmart! I think it is due today, thank goodness. Just for anyone reading this. I wanted this one in particular, due to needing more circulation in my feet, and the rocking motion enables me to simulate a therapy exercise I do, sitting in front of the computer I am excited to get this one!
