I got this because my little one likes to be rocked, and we don’t have a glider/rocker in the living room. So I got this to go on my sectional and it works, but it gets uncomfortable fast. Once the baby is asleep if I just try to hang out with it/lean on it, it starts to hurt and give me a headache. I love the concept but, while I found the quality of construction to be very good, there are flaws in the execution of the design that make it impractical. I definitely feel it was designed for a man’s body as it is not ergonomic for a smaller woman, as many other reviews have pointed out, even though women are probably more likely to use this. It’s too large and my upper back was hurting within 2 minutes of using it. I also tried to use it with my office chair as it is advertised to provide good back support for sitting, but it’s way too deep to fit on a standard chair. Very cool that you can adjust the resistance, but the resistance on the lowest setting is so high that I can’t imagine needing to increase it. It’s also very heavy and bulky so I can’t imagine it being convenient to just throw behind your back in bed when you have to rock a baby. Idea: Ready Rocker Light, smaller and lighter with less resistance for the more petite half of the population.

This is the best product I ever bought on Amazon. I was initially surprised by the price but it's fairly priced and worth every penny. It's sturdy, attractive, well made, and feels great to the touch. Of course, the most important part is that it works. Sitting was causing me terrible pain discomfort while sitting and when getting up. That's no longer the case. Sitting is now comfortable and pain free.

Several versions of this are on the market. Definitely helps ergonomics when sitting on the couch. Not comfortable on all seating but good in several applications. It is sturdily made but bulky. There is tension adjustment hardware in the inside curve that I have never used. Would be lighter weight and easier to store if that were eliminated as some other manufacturers have it.

there is a dial in between which you can change the stiffness/ease to the rocking, counter-clockwise = easier just received and it feels great on my back. definitely recommend it, there is padding so you're not rocking against a hard surface. I'm hoping it will strengthen my abs - i mean it does use your core muscles to rock. great product - 100% worth the purchase.

I took a chance and purchased. I love rocking and I'm at the computer all day long. My office chair has a large seat, so I thought this would fit in the open space behind my back. It does not. I will have to find another use for this. The quality is excellent.
