The Ready Hot 40-RH-150-SS Compact Instant Hot Water Dispenser delivers space- saving convenience under your sink and up to 200F water at your fingertips with no waste and no need for microwaving or stovetop boiling. Featuring a compact stainless steel tank only, this under sink large hot water dispenser helps save space under your sink and offers quick connect fittings and convenient connections to reduce the probability of kinked or twisted water lines. The manual temperature control knob conveniently allows you to adjust the temperature between 140F and 208F for hot water that fits your needs. The 2.5-quart stainless steel dispenser tank comes with a 120-volt 1300-watt stainless steel heating element for efficient heating and consistent temperature control that’s both durable and reliable. For added safety, an automated heater protection thermal fuse protects the dispenser in the event of a dry start up. The near-boiling water makes beverage and instant foods in seconds including tea, coffee, cocoa, soups, noodles, pasta, and vegetables. In addition, the hot water maker may be used for many other household tasks, such as a baby hot water dispenser for food & bottles or cleaning pots & pans. For the highest quality water, the non-copper waterways of this instant hot water tank make it ideally suited for reverse osmosis applications very low in total dissolved solids (TDS). The Ready Hot water tank includes an inlet connector 3/8” NPSM X 1/4” push fit (blue position), tank, 1/4” or 3/8” hose clamp, and outlet connector— 3/8” NPSM brass plated barb connector (red position). Worked perfectly! I bought my own faucet to match a particular style, and this ended up being pretty easy to install. The tank takes around 30 min to heat up when you first install it, so don’t be discouraged if it takes a little while to generate hot water. After that, it’ll be near-instant and perfectly hot! This tank is from a previous installation Ready Hot 41-RH-300-F560-BN. The tank started leaking as shown in the pictures. The tank is stainless steel and the bracket holding the plastic water inlet is aluminum. The two dissimilar metals have created galvanic corrosion and resulted in the leak. My new unit RH-200-SS has the same dissimilar metal and will eventually cause corrosion also. The first unit was installed in August, 2020 so it is 3 years old. I love this unit and will continue to purchase them but I am looking for a way to repair the unit. Has anyone repaired or attempted to repair the leak? How do I get the corroded bracket out of the tank in order to repair it? It would seem a plastic washer and perhaps epoxy glue would be a good repair. I hope someone can offer a good solution. ... show more

I had the digital version of this for 5 years and it worked great (then it started leaking from the bottom). I decided to replace it with the less expensive version, because I figured I could use a thermometer to adjust the temperature. But this one doesn't regulate the temperature well, and it keeps spraying boiling water all over when I'm not using it. I keep trying to turn down the temperature so that it's now in the black, but it won't stop randomly spewing boiling water - so it is dangerous. I am ordering the digital one again. Unfortunately I spent so long trying to fix it that it is now too late to return it. This one will be going to the scrap yard. ... show more

It came with a dent in it, we just bought the tank and it was working, but Amazon did me right by cutting 20% off the price or something like that. It was interesting that it was ended because the box itself was fine. It was almost like they got a return from somebody put it in a new box and shipped it to me. We've had this for a while now. It's great -- hot water on demand and plenty of it. It's much quieter than our old one. Unlike before, we only have the temperature turned up about 3/4 of the way because that's all that's needed to brew tea, make ramen noodles and instant soups and cereal.
