We finally made our baby’s transition to her nursery, so the Hatch sound machine we’ve been using for the last 7 months is now in her nursery. I didn’t realize how much I liked having a sound machine in my room until I moved her Hatch, so I decided to get myself a sound machine. I especially love how this has a sunrise feature because I’m guilty of hitting the snooze button on my phone over and over until I’m almost late for work. This has a ton of different, soothing sounds to choose from, and I really love how you can easily turn the night light and the clock light down so your room is dark. I like this even better than her Hatch (though I still prefer the Hatch for her so I can control it from my phone). I would definitely recommend this! Very reasonable price for a really great product. It has a ton of features and would be great for adults, kids, or babies. Edited to add: After using this alarm clock for a week, I can say that the sunrise feature is really bright. It’s not a slow transition like I was expecting…it goes from complete darkness (how I have it set) to very bright very quickly. Just a heads up because I was a little caught off guard. This is not the brightest clock...it's more like a nightlight than a bedside lamp. That being said, it does what it's supposed to do...wakes me up with gentle light. The controls are very intuitive, and I had it set up within minutes without ever having to consult the directions. The buttons are well-marked with symbols that are large enough for me to read without my glasses. The brightness and volume are smoothly adjustable by dial so you are not stuck with fixed settings. I really like that there is no radio, which I wouldn't use anyway and which would make the clock more prone to malfunction. The only complaint I have is that there are only 4 alarm sounds. There are several more "noise machine" sounds but I wish they could have been alarm options as well. That being said, the bird sounds are extremely pleasant and help me rise without ever jolting me awake. For the price (around $25 when I bought it on sale), it is definitely worth it. ... show more

Nice little clock. A little frustrating getting use to the way you have to change settings on it but, it functions how I want it to without breaking my bank. For some reason I was stumped on how to change AM to PM but i finally had the eureka moment to just keep changing the time past 12 until it changed to PM on the clock. I wake up before the actual alarm goes off due to the clock lighting up first which is such a good thing when sleeping with a partner or someone whose sleep schedule is different from yours. I got this for my kids and it works great. The colors are nice and I really like you can adjust the brightness. The music for night is good. The soft wake in the morning has birds and gradually have the sun rise. The only thing to watch, for the clock light the machine gets pretty warm, you can adjust the brightness on that.
