We love this playmat! We use it more for tummy time as it’s very entertaining for our little guy. The mat is a more slick material, not super thick or padded but great for on carpet. You can easily assemble/disassemble it if you want to use parts separately. Our baby loves the archway too so that’s been great for tummy time and neck strength (makes baby look up). The dangling toys are also a great rubbery material for teething babies! The keyboard lights up and has songs or you can choose to play piano so baby can kick or press keys. So many things you can do with it. May is washable too. I highly recommend! Great for baby’s of all ages. I’m sure we’ll use this for months to come! The Fisher-Price Glow and Grow Kick & Play Piano quickly became one of the most-used baby items in our house. From the newborn stage through tummy time and beyond, this playmat kept my baby entertained every single day. The lights, music, and colorful hanging toys instantly grabbed my baby’s attention, but the real star of the show was definitely the piano. And if you know, you know… the classic “purple monkey in a bubblegum tree” song somehow becomes part of your daily life as a parent 😂 Honestly though, the songs are surprisingly catchy and not nearly as annoying as some other baby toys. My baby absolutely loved kicking the piano to activate the music and lights, and it kept them entertained for long stretches of time. I also loved how this playmat grows with your baby. In the early months, my baby enjoyed laying underneath the hanging toys and kicking the piano, and later it became great for tummy time and sitting up to play. The mat itself is soft, easy to clean, and held up really well with everyday use. This ended up being one of those baby items that actually felt worth every penny because we used it constantly. As he’s grown older, the mat has continued to be a hit, it’s still a cozy spot for playtime, rolling around, and even quiet time. The quality is excellent: the padding is soft but supportive, and the surface is easy to clean (a must with babies and toddlers!). It’s large enough that he has room to wiggle, crawl, or sit up without feeling cramped. I bought this play mat with the piano for my 2 month old, and it’s been a game changer. The colors are bright and engaging, and my baby loves kicking the piano keys — it helps with leg strength and coordination. The toys that hang above are at the right height for reaching and grabbing, which keeps my little one busy and helps with motor skills. It’s also lightweight and easy to move from room to room, and the mat is soft enough for tummy time. Cleaning is simple too — I just wipe it down and it still looks new. The only downside is that the piano music is a little loud on the highest setting, but it has volume control, so it’s not a dealbreaker. My baby is also fairly long so I wish the mat was adjustable for him to fit better. Overall, I highly recommend this play mat.
