I bought this to charge the battery for my DeWalt hammer drill. It takes the 20v Max battery. I bought a knock-off battery on Amazon. I used the charger to charge the battery and it did a great job, the battery was completely charged before I knew it. The charger has status indicators to let you know if the battery is charging and when it is complete. It also has a temperature warning indicator on it to let you know if the battery is too hot or too cold to charge. This charger is a great deal for charging DeWalt or similar batteries.

This does not work at all. I opened the box, plugged it into the wall and nothing happened when I added a battery to charge. It is totally useless.

Got this to have out at the recreational property, versus trying to remember to bring my original charger with me. I've been very happy with this charger so far. All my DeWalt batteries have fit, and it charges them up nearly as fast as the charger that came with my batteries! The indicator is helpful in that it tells you if the battery is not completely pushed down on the charger; it's a bummer to come back hours later and realize your battery has not taken any charge, so is therefore unusable.

The charger is used for my home so I didn't have to use my original one all the time and constantly pack it home from the shop when needing to charge my Dewalt batteries also works on non-dewalt batteries of the same build. Highly recommended if needing a replacement charger or spare for another location like I my use which is at home.

Took this charger out of the box and plugged it in. My Dewalt 20V Compatible Battery slipped in easily and the charging light flashed. Less than an hour later, charge was complete. Put charged battery into my favorite tool and it worked just fine. Not sure what else can be said. This charger works and is simple to use.

It's simple but definitely compatible with Dewalt batteries. Just be aware that the light doesn't change colors and is always red; so don't be alarmed!
