This RCScrewz Stainless Steel Screw Set replaces all fasteners in the Traxxas Slash 4x4 Ultimate/Platinum/LCG with high quality polished stainless steel (A4 and A6) components. 235+ PIECES INCLUDING: -All socket screws + Extras -Button Screws + Extras -Flat Head Screws + Extras -Set Screws + Extras -Nuts + Extras -Washers + Extras -Bondhus Short Arm Hex Wrenches (Allen Keys) for each included size of screw -Quality Flambeau Tuff-Tainer reusable pit case with snap-latch, detachable lid, six compartments, and two removable dividers INSTALLATION: As a result of our field testing some small diameter screws may have Phillips heads to retain strength. Really like this screw kit, though wish it contained the shoulder screws for the upper shock mounts and the hub carriers in the front suspension. Over all great kit and comes with many extra screws that are great for spares!!

There are way more screws than one truck has. I was able to do all the main bolts on two trucks and still got so many screws extra. Example: there are no shoulder screws as used in front caster blocks & no servo mount screws/sway bar mount screws, etc.

Product was delivered in a timely manner. The packaging container is really convenient to keep other extra hardware. Plenty of extras after replacing the hardware in my Traxxas Ford Fiesta Rally. Great upgrade especially considering that these do not rust as easily compared to the stock Traxxas hardware. ... show more

This screw set is made well enough in that they should not strip easily, this was a major question I had prior to buying as I read reviews on similar products that they stripped easily - THESE DO NOT STRIP Easily! However, there are certain lenghts that are not included and I was forced to use longer screws where I did not want to - 2mm longer than neccessary is a big deal when your screwing into plastic! AND, they did not have the same stylew of screw used with the shocks the ones with the collar. Maybe this is monor to them, but at the end of the day if they advertise this is a complete screw set for Slash, then it should have all the same types of screws. They did add a few types of screws theat you would never need, so again, they should have mirrored the exact types of screws and then it would get a 5 star, other than that they are just 3 stars. ... show more

    • Good quality, lots of extra screws
The screws seem to be very nice quality. None were damaged or have stripped out. However some of the lengths for the screws are not identical to the stock screws and it requires a bit of trial and error to see what fits correctly where. I had to put some shorter screws in places to avoid warping the plastic. Also, if you have any after market upgrades (such as an RPM rear or front bulkhead) you will need additional screws to accommodate for the fact that these parts use more screws. ... show more
