The media could not be loaded. Hey, just received the model: EC120 Drone from my wife and I have to tell you about it. This drone kicks butt, First of all the drone has more capabilities than others on the market. Emergency Stop, Speed Switch, Photos and Videos, Altitude Hold Function, Return To Home (RTH), Smart RTH, low Voltage RTH, Failsafe RTH, Optical Flow positioning for indoors, Headless mode, One Key Take Off and Land, Flight Setting, Tap-Fly, Follow Me Mode, Circle Fly and more (all explained in manual). Comes with a charger for the batteries and one for the transmitter. No need for the AAA batteries. The App you download onto your phone and it is super easy to use. I was up and flying in 10 minutes after going through the Manual, Downloading the App and pairing my phone to the drone and drone to transmitter. Sounds like a lot but after a couple of flights you can defiantly see the difference in this drone versus the others on the market for the similar price. At only 229g, you don’t need to get a number and have it registered but I do with all my drones, it is easy and free. That way if you are ever questioned about it you have the paperwork right with you and the number on the side of the drone. Registering only takes a few minutes of read this and short questions then at the end you can print off your certificate with your number. Let’s see. What I like about this drone the best…I really like the camera, I have had camera drones before but this is the first one that moves thanks to the transmitter. The drone takes only a minute or two to setup and pair with your phone and transmitter it has a very nice App display screen and is very user friendly. comes with the two batteries that charge while you’re having lunch or whatever and the two speeds are kind of fun also, especially when the grand kids come over for a visit (yup, that old am I) I love flying it up the top of the barn or silos to do inspection so I don’t have to climb all the way up there and possibly slip and fall. Great for checking the gutters and looking for stray calves hiding in the grass (you farmers know what I mean ;)) Using the video function is cool as heck when time to pick beans or corn as well. Also kind of fun to see myself cutting and tedding the hay, then raking and baling. Just a really fun drone to have around. Two batteries, 25 minutes each, not like most drones that give you only a few minutes of play and a lot of charge time. Worth the buy, Thanks Babe.     • Fantastic drone for the price
I've been wondering for a while now what the drone hype was all about. Did a fair amount of research and decided to buy this. Everything you need to get flying is in the box, and the included instructions are clear and concise. The drone and controller have a very solid feel and appears well made, much better than I expected considering the price. Setup and calibration of the drone and configuration of the software (on your phone) is super easy and trouble free. The flight performance of the drone and stability in a hover blew me away, I was immediately comfortable with flying this thing knowing that if I got confused about the orientation of the drone all that I had to do was let go of the controls and let the drone right itself and wait for me to figure out what I was doing. Once I got comfortable with flying I tried out some of the other features such as follow me and they do work as advertised - pretty neat. Battery life is as advertised and pretty good! All in all, it's a great, stable drone for someone getting started in flying drones and are unsure if "it's for them". The included camera is certainly good enough to what your appetite for aerial photography. I have no regrets in buying this drone and would confidently recommend it to anyone getting started in the hobby. ... show more

There’s a couple things I really liked about it: - It’s easy to fly: the controls are self explanatory, and there’s a page on it in the manual if you need a refresher. - It can hold altitude pretty well. In ground effect it’s a bit wobbly, but at altitude it stabilizes. - The controls are responsive and it likes to stay in the axis youre flying it in. - Live feed and camera functions: the live feed is awesome, and there’s basically no delay. It’s very easy to start a video, and it doesn’t lag the screen at all. Camera quality is decent considering the price range of the drone and the other features it offers. Some notes: -The camera angle adjustment isnt smooth and you have to notch it bit by bit to get the angle you want, instead of a continuous actuation. -My friend and I couldnt find the instructions on how to start the motors, but its just the red lock button on the controller. Once you push it, the drone starts up. -Keep in mind recording and doing crazy maneuvers will drain your battery faster. Overall, I think this is a great drone to have fun with, it flies great, live feed is awesome, you get two batteries, and the controller gives you plenty of warning that you’re low on power, so you can return the drone back to base in time. ... show more

Didn't have any issues getting started. I just followed the instructions and downloaded the app on my phone. It takes very clear pictures. I think the camera being isolated from the drone really helps. I think it would take better pictures on a more calm day, as the drone was constantly moving to maintain position in the wind. I flew it on a windy day, and the GPS held postion well. I tried to fly without GPS, and crashed very quickly. Even after a few tumbles, there was no visible damage to the drone. So I'd say it's very durable. Best part is that you can link to your phone through wifi and view through the camera. The only complaint I have is that there seems to be some lag in the live video feed after I take a picture. ... show more
