I came across this RC Stunt Car and thought it’d be fun for this middle aged grandma and her cats. It quickly gained the cat's interest and I have a blast with it! The vehicle is 7” wide x 5 ½” x 2 ½” tall. It can flip, spin 360*, land on its top and keep going upside-down, so to say. The top is now bottom and vice versa.It can do tricks that I have not mastered yet. Each side can extend it’s tires out 90* and really spin with the powerful motor it has. The tires are soft rubber and have some traction on them, but they don’t damage my hardwood floors. The LED headlights and colorful, flashing lights on the wheels add some fun. They are even dimmable. When the stunt car is spinning, text actually appears with the lights. It is hard to see at first but it is there, adding even more fun. It can navigate different surfaces easily. It is like an all-terrain 4WD and could, literally, climb a small pile of towels on the bathroom tile. I look forward to nicer weather so I can take it outdoors and try it on the grass and gravel. This toy car is not only entertaining but also feels durable and well-made, like it can take a hard fall. This is really fun. Hard for me to master the tricks, but it is great for hand/eye coordination. I haven’t even shared it with the grandkids yet, but they’ll get a kick out of it. The specs say that it is intended for kids aged 6 to 12. Grandpa and I are in our 60’s and we are thoroughly entertained with it. **Included are two 500mAh rechargeable lithium ion batteries. The stunt car uses only one and one is a spare. It is nice to always have one already charged and ready to play.The batteries have a wire with a connecting end that plugs into a wire in the car's battery compartment. This wire also plugs onto the USB adapter for charging. NOTE** Not included are 2 AA batteries for the remote controller. I was not aware of this. I did not read this anywhere in the specs. I do wish I knew this so I didn’t have to wait to play with it right when I got it. I guess it added to my anticipation for my new toy. I can not yet say how long the remote batteries will run. NOTE** To access the battery compartments for each, the remote and stunt car, you need to unscrew a micro small screw. They do include a little screwdriver for this, which is good because not everyone has these baby screwdrivers floating around in their junk drawers. I will recommend this RC Stunt car for any age. Just be sure to have a couple AA’s handy and, if needed, your spectacles to see the micro screw. ... show more

This RC 4 wheel drive stunt car is is really fun to play with and is really impressive at this price. This would make an amazing gift and all the needed batteries are included. It comes with one 3.7V Li-ion rechargeable battery in the car and a spare in the box. It also comes with 2 AA alkaline batteries for the wireless controller along with a small screwdriver to open the battery compartments on the controller and the car. The tiny screws securing the battery compartments are a nice feature to keep small children from getting to the chemical batteries. The car batteries are charged one at a time using the included USB-A charger with SM-2P connector. The large soft tires at the 4 corners make it a great inside the house RC car as most impacts will be cushioned by the tires but it is still possible to slam the body into a chair leg or outside corner wall. The car does spins, back flips and wheelies but with only one speed, control is mostly done by bumping the joysticks in different combinations. The controller and car have ON-OFF switches to conserve batteries which is important as they do not seem to go to sleep on their own. The controller as two up-down thumb joysticks for driving; the left joystick drives the left 2 wheels forward/back at a single speed and the right joystick drives the right 2 wheels forward/back at a single speed. Steering is done by bumping only one joystick. Move one joystick up and the other down will result in the car spinning. On carpet, it just spins on the ground but on a hard floor it spins faster and stands up on 2 wheels. The spin can also be done with the AUTO DEMO button on the control without touching the joysticks. The car has a lot of different LEDs that change color and they are appropriately bright to make the car fun without blinding you. One of the LED features is a row of 11 red LEDs on the inside of the front left wheel that turn on in spin mode. On a hard floor when the car stands up, these LEDs display messages which people can see (thank you human brain and eye design) but don't show up on video so we can't show you. The 5 messages are changed by the LIGHT SWITCH button on the controller and are GOOD, I (HEART) U, HAPPY, HELLO and all LEDs on which look like concentric rings. ... show more
