  • Cool
Color: Blue
I really like the plan but the second time I flow it the front wheel came off and I lost it other than that it's a cool plan

  • Great toy
Color: Blue
This is one of the best toys I’ve gotten my son in a long time. I didn’t expect much from it when I bought it, but it went above and beyond expectations. I will say, though that having the wheels on the bottom made the plane fly upside down and really wasn’t controllable. However, when taking the wheels off, the plane flew right side up, it was a little higher. It would be nice if the package came with glue for any repairs on the Styrofoam. ... show more

This plane is very good for its price. I 100% recommend it to someone new due to it being only a 2 channel plane.

  • Fun, easy to fly plane, but ONLY for dead calm conditions
Color: Red
I not only flew "regular" 4-channel radio controlled planes for many years, I also built them from scratch. I've also bought/flew some "kit" planes, and I usually preferred the flying characteristics of mine. That was often because the "kit" planes were too heavy. This plane is not too heavy, for sure. It is indeed very light, which is good, because even "good" landings are like crashes. And a light plane means less damage when it hits something upon landing. Be sure to fly this over grass. When trimmed out properly, and with little to no wind (literally 0 to 2 mph), it does fly pretty well. I was able to fly it in circles, do figure-8's, and use the throttle to increase altitude and even lower altitude by dropping throttle and turning. The gyroscope seems to keep it from stalling or dropping too much when turning. With good trimming and a bit of practice, one can keep this in the air for an entire battery charge. To this though, you need VERY calm conditions. BECAUSE... When I first tried flying it, I did exactly what was said to hand launch. It immediately nosed-down 6 times and crashed. I then LIGHTLY bent the elevator flaps up, and then it flew - BUT - only well and into the wind. I have a weather station on my house, so I know that the wind conditions by me at the time of that flying attempt were 3 mph steady wind, and 4.5 mph gusts. Even THAT was too much wind to fly it WITH the wind (that is, the plane flying down wind). Upwind (into the wind) it flew fine, but that does not really allow you to make circles or figure eights - all you can do is aim the nose windward, and try and keep it from turning 180 degrees downwind. It has a somewhat hollow rubber nose and the body/wings are made from EPP foam, which is good, because even "good" landings are pretty hard a lot of the time. One other thing I was not prepared for having used a four channel system previously (throttle, aileron, elevator, rudder) and this only being two channel is that with this one, even if you have the throttle ALL the way off, if you are pushing the directional stick left or right AT ALL, the motors/props WILL continue to turn. So if the wind takes the plane and you want it to come down quickly, you just have to let go of everything and let it glide because you won't be able to turn it back into the wind, and you must hope it doesn't hit anything. And when it catches a "downwind" heading and you do that, it glides a LONG way - I nearly ran into a parking lot which was 125-150 feet behind me. And the plane was perhaps only ~30 feet up. I did not use the landing gear as I have no area from which to fly it with wheels that small. Flying time is pretty good - I did not time it but for the size battery and how long I used to fly planes I built previously, it is certainly an average time - perhaps 5 to 8 minutes total. For what it is and when flown in dead calm conditions, it is quite fun and a good product. Just beware if you try to use it in much of any wind that flying become challenging very quickly. And in fairness, the instructions do state to fly only in calm. Overall it is good though. ... show more
