This is a nice three Channel beginner playing for those who are just looking how to fly. It comes with two batteries and two sets of landing gear plus extra props. The controller is quite small and I wish it was a little bit bigger. The plane is very powerful and I've gotten it to take off by itself. The prop on the front is only for looks, it serves no purpose. What you cannot see on the website or the two small propellers on each wing. It has a spinning image that makes him hard to see. It does come with a small USB charger. The small usb chargers tend to worry me so I always charge the battery while I am inside of it. I don't trust them to overheat and potentially start a fire. No issues with this one and the charger nor battery became hot. The photos that others have posted are accurate. I'd planned on taking a video on my second flight but it has been too cold and windy to get outside. For the price point this is a good plane. You could probably find better for this price point and you could also do a lot worse so this is a good in between beginner airplane. Plus being three channels makes it easier for those just learning. I did take off one star because I do not believe you will get the advertised flight time out of the battery. But enough flight time to enjoy it and have the other one on standby.

The media could not be loaded. If you're looking for a beginner, user friendly remote control airplane that is very easy to fly, this Omnango P-51D Mustang is fantastic. This is actually more of a powered RC glider which makes flying effortless and so much more enjoyable, especially for a beginner pilot. It practically floats through the air! Rather than using the main propeller in the front, it's powered by twin smaller props mounted on each wing. This allows for slow take offs and flights. Each motor operates independently to control the turning (yaw) of the plane. This eliminates the need for having to learn the more complicated flaps, ailerons, and rudder of advanced RC planes. Outside of the mini propellers, the only other moving parts are the elevators on the rear wing stabilizers, which control the pitch of the plane's nose up and down. You can take off by using a flat surface runway or by simply pushing up the throttle and hand tossing it into the air. The landing gear is a little springy, so expect a little bouncing on landing as the plane is very light. But rest assured, this little plane is strong. We had several rough landings but there was no real damage at all and we were right back in the air. The controls are very responsive for a glider plane and flight is very stable, however I would recommend only using this plane on days with little or no wind. The plane is about 13 inches with a 15 inch wingspan. The green and silver colored fuselage along with the stars and lettering give it a realistic scale look. While the large front prop is solely decorative, it does spin freely giving the appearance it is operational in flight. Range is great as I had this flying out over an entire soccer field and was up pretty high. I got about a full 10 minutes on a charge using the included USB charger. A loud warning beep alerts you that the battery is running low and that you need to land. The plane came with some nice extras should you need them. An extra set of front and rear landing gear, an extra set of mini props should you break one and a second battery which gives you more time at the field. This is wonderful plane to learn flying on. It's slow, giving you time to think and very forgiving forgiving should you make an error. It is a very affordable entry level RC aircraft for beginners. As an experienced RC pilot, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to try first time flying without frustration.

It flys well. My children really enjoy it. I was surprised to see it is made from a Styrofoam material. However, I am new to the RC plane world so maybe that is common?

The media could not be loaded. This plane is a great buy at $50. About 400mm wingspan the plane has simple flight controls with the only control surface being the tail elevator. Altitude is controlled via power to the wing propellers and the tail elevator. The left and right is controlled by distributing the wing propeller power to the left or right side. This configuration includes a 6 axis on board gyro which overrides too much control input to stabilize the flight and makes the plane easy to learn, easy to fly and helps to avoid crashes that come from novice flyers like me. This is a great plane to buy as a stepping stone up to let’s say the same slice plane that has a working front propeller (this one is just for decoration) that costs twice as much and is a bit harder to fly. Excellent value and the plane just looks cool too!!
