My son loved this. It works really well especially considering the price.

  • If on the fence, buy it.

I began flying R/C airplanes in the 1970s. What cost $100 in today's money today cost $400 to $500 in 1970 in 1970s money. In 1980 this would have sold for at least $300 to $400 dollars. Maybe more. For $30 dollars wow, If you have never tried an R/C plane before cannot go wrong starting with this. You can take off, land, and taxi on smooth ground. The more you fly it, the more familiar you become, and after a time get more skilled. Very durable. This is a well thought out and very well designed product. Only one complaint. My fuselage has a slight curve so it turns better that way. Have tried to curve it back, but likes to keep its shape. Still Great product. ... show more

  • Did not function properly, not for beginners
Color: Yellow
To start I structio s are tiny, difficult to read. Batteries can only be charged while in the plane. The controls did not work took a sharp right into wood. We lost it on the first flight. Would not respond to controls

What a delightful little biplane this is! First things first: Do not be alarmed if this plane takes longer than other RC toys to pair with its transmitter after you turn both devices on. At first I thought something was wrong, and it wasn't pairing, but I was mistaken. This one just takes longer than others to pair with its controller. I'd say give it a full 30 seconds. When all is said and done, this is yet another two-channel, beginner's plane that uses two motors and thrust vectoring to steer. Those are a dime a dozen, but this one happens to be really good. Better than a lot of its competitors, honestly. And at its price point, there's a lot of value for your money. Before we even talk about flying, I'll note one very interesting feature of this plane is that it comes with three batteries, and you can charge the battery that's preinstalled by plugging the charger into the fuselage, OR you can charge the batteries outside the plane by using an included adapter. I've never seen this before, a scheme where you can plug directly into the plane to charge it, but you can also charge your extra batteries without them being in the plane. The style of this biplane's design is what people in RC aviation refer to as a "profile" plane, meaning the fuselage is a flat piece of foam that resembles a two-dimensional picture of a plane in profile. If you've never looked into profile planes, you might find that a bit odd, but the plane looks great in the air, and using the profile style of fuselage saves weight and yields aerodynamic benefits. Flying this plane is as easy as flying any other two-channel plane, so it's perfect for beginners and kids. The motors have plenty of power, and if you go full throttle, the plane will tend to adopt a nose-up attitude as it tries to climb and climb. Naturally, with its all-foam body and "pusher" style propellers mounted in the rear, this plane can survive plenty of crashes. As the attached photo shows, mine wound up stuck in a tree. I'll be returning to the park with a ladder and pole to retrieve it soon. But again, this plane is so affordable, I could just order another one. Anyway, I love the functionality related to charging this plane, and I like how it flies. Most importantly, I love how it looks. It's currently the only biplane in my fleet, and it makes me smile. ... show more
