I have been interested in getting an RC car for awhile, just to goof around with. When I researched the hobby I didn't realize how serious it had gotten. "entry level" cars seem to be between $100 -200. The culture seems interesting and to each their own on hobbies but also seems intense. So I picked a budget car ... like I just want to mess around, maybe but probably not ill get more serious. Probably not because I do a lot of my own car repairs ... as in my actial car .. and I guess it can be interesting sometimes .. at least sometimes you learn something new.. but it's never very fun (for me personally) and parts are expensive. And when I can't fix something I definitely never have fun paying someone else to fix it. This car delivered. The setup is very easy. It's inexpensive. The design of the car is very straightfoward. Had a blast driving it around my indoor patio where I have a mini soccer net, so I played some Rocket League but in real life, so much fun. I can't speak to the durability of the car overall because I have just driven it for one battery charge, but considering my first time driving in not that big of an enclosed area I crashed it a bunch, even flipped it once and was like woah that was awesome but I probably just broke it... set the wheels back on the ground and tried the remote .. like nothing happened. Very very fun. Good product. In fact so good i think this will be my price range/brand if I get anymore. To each their own on hobbies but I don't want to change the transmission on a thousand dollar RC car... i wanna drive an inexpensive car around like a maniac until i probably break it and then can just buy a new one for cheap if i want to. ... show more

If I could give 2.5 starts I would. Bought 2 cars 1 works great and runs well. The other has stripped its gears after about 30 seconds. They are fun on hard floors decent battery and speed. For $20 they are totally worth worth the gamble with the extra battery’s and tires and goodies.

The rc car is built nicely ,has plenty of speed to drift around the house or drive way ,only bummer is it stops completely or slows down alot to make turns ,sounds like some internal gears are slipping and catching an not letting the wheels spin
